Haul: NARS D. Gorgeous & UD Secret Service; Real Techniques Core Collection & Duofiber Collection (ULTA has a BOGO 50% sale, so I picked up both!)-I picked them up last night, so I haven’t tried them, but after falling in love with the Expert Face Brush, I have high hopes!

From the few photos I’ve seen, they look a sparse and wimpy… but is that the point? 😉
This weeks haul – Lancome Teint Idole 24hr in Ivory 100. It isn’t light enough so i mix it with Face Atelier Zero Minus. Some Maybelline LE Color Tattoo eyeshadows,Color Whispers and Color Sensational l/g’s. Sorry I can’t remember names – I know I bought the really duochrome e/s that everyone is after and coral lipcolors because those are my favorites for summer!
Weekend plans – not sure yet. But I get to sleep in!
Fave summer drink – ice cold water with lemon or orange slices.
I have to say that I really admire you Christine because you seem to have such excellent self control over what foods you eat. You must be so healthy! Of course having a wonderful pooch like Mellan certainly helps. =)

Haul: I called a bunch of stores around my and found a sephora with two of the Laura Mercier artists palette for eyes for two of my friends! Also two l’occitane hand creams and the new Givenchy Le Rouge Lipsticks for summer in coral and fuschia, a too faced lip liner in perfect pink, shiseido rouge lacquer in rd607, and tocca cleopatra mini perfume!
Weekend plans: Pedicure!

Oh and Chanel Taboo! It finally became available here today and naturally I had to add it to my purple nail polish collection 😉

Yea i didn’t know i had access to it and the prices are around 30% off…. It’s a hit and miss some items do look dated but some things are a treat to find like brushes and LE items… It’s very dangerous to know I can shop there now!!
Haul: Just some nail polishes from China Glaze (Itty, Bitty & Gritty, Toe-Tally Textured, Keepin’ It Teal, Heat Index, You Drive Me Coconuts, Shell-O). Apparently the jelly polishes are extremely sheer, but I thought the colors were so pretty and summery that I had to order them anyway.

What’s your favorite summer treat?: Anything fruity and frozen! Popsicles, sorbet, sherbet, strawberry and kiwi flavored italian ice! Panacotta flavored gelato! Not a big fan of regular ice cream and frozen yoghurts in the summer (I prefer those in the winter, lol)

Haul: Would you believe nothing? Well, I picked up eye cream last night, which I suppose counts. That’s actually two weeks in a row I haven’t indulged. I think I owe myself some shopping!
Weekend plans: Cleaning everything. House, clothes, you name it. If they’re not careful, I’ll probably grab the cats and wash them too…
Favourite summer treat: Sangria! Nothing like spending a lazy afternoon on a terrasse with friends sipping sangria. Also, I have a corn and avocado salad that I love to make every summer. Because it’s called a salad I can pretend it’s really healthy, even though avocados are full of fat and corn is full of sugar…

I don’t often wear polish on my nails, Christine (just too much work to maintain it) but I couldn’t pass these up because the prices were so good – around here, it’s rare to find OPI on sale anywhere and when I do, it’s usually blech colours that have separated! These were all (to my taste anyway) fabulous shades and all in perfect condition. Now I just have to start doing my fingernails more often!

I’m going to make some summer/spring-friendly nail polish shades in empty bottles by mixing white with my existing colours. My small collection has mostly dark colours, so I have lots of options.

I hauled an eyeshadow last which totally went against my no eyeshadow for 2013 rule. I was finally able to get ahold of Wet N Wild comfort zone palette after all this time. I also picked up Wet N Wild Fergie Eye Primer, and some face powder poofs. I have been wearing comfort zone everyday lol, and I also picked up the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Too Cool. I think I have all the really neutral colors now!
My little sister was here last weekend and we went shopping at the wallgreens. She wanted my suggestion on a good drugstore foundation so I recommended revlon color stay whipped eventhough I hadnt tried it myself. I had it on my list of things to try so we both got it to try out. Needless to say we both love it. I wear it to work everyday now and it is so full coverage and she says she loves going shopping with me because I’m so well informed about makeup 😀
In other news some of my furniture is coming in on wednesday. A computer desk and office chair and a kitchen table without chairs because I just didnt like any of the chairs I saw. lol. Still looking. No livingroom stuff yet but its ordered!
I’ve spent so much money getting my house together. I know it will be so worth it when I finally have it feeling like a home!
