Haul: The Fashion Sets didn’t grab me like I thought they would simply because I have similar colors from MAC…however I did get silly lipglass. I’m super late lol but I picked up MUFE eyeshadow in No. 92, an Anastasia brow wiz and a chromographic concealer pencil from MAC pro.

Wknd Plans: Hangout with the family πŸ™‚

Favorite Sport to do/play: I workout 5-6 days a week mainly the treadmill but I do love football season!

Picked up a few Urban Decay 24/7 Eye Pencils as well as the Super Saturated Lip Color in Love Child. And then picked up MAC’s Heroine yesterday!

I have a weekend plan of actually getting the carpet cleaned in this house. I’ve stalled because the weather has been odd and I was going to need to leave all the windows open while the carpet dried. Chances that I’ll actually get this done? 50%. Man, I am lazy about that. Otherwise, birthday shopping for my tiny monster who turns six in two week. And making sure I get a few more new dinner recipes going!

Favorite sport? Oddly, sports is the one place I don’t seem to be competitive about. So I very much indulge in solo things. Yoga, running, swimming, surfing, etc. Favorite is probably running. I enjoy the competitive nature against myself with it. How about favorite sport to watch? I’m a hockey lover!

Have a good weekend, Christine!

Glad you snagged Heroine! πŸ™‚

I steam cleaned my office’s carpet only, and wow, that was a lot more work than I ever thought it would be. Good luck!!

Awww Mellan is so adorable, but I want to squish him even more when he is sleeping like that!

Haul – this past week was pretty epic for me – I bought 2 lemmings, the Chantecaille Save the Sharks palette (I love shakrs!) and Guerlain Coup de Foudre palette! I have mostly been obsessed with the Guerlain set because the colors are sooo gorgeous and the formula is smooth and silky. I also bought my fave BB cream, Missha M Perfect Cover in #13 Bright Beige and Biore UV Face milk – i hearit is wonderful for oily skin.

Weekend plans – going to a friends for Easter breakfast!

Haul?: Bumble and Bumble Tonic Shampoo, Ojon Rare Blend protective treatment, NARS Nico Blush Illamasqua Tremble Blush, Kiehls Cucumber Toner, MAC wipes, Mac Creme cup πŸ™‚ and then I went and got a huge haul at j crew πŸ˜€

Weekend plans?: work tomorrow, and then relax the rest of the week!

Favorite sport?: to watch hockey and to play lacrosse πŸ˜€

I really like their silk tops because they’re very comfortable, and look really nice. I would go when they’re on sale because they’re quite pricey. I bought one that was orginially 118$ for 38$, which is an amazing deal! I would also suggest their cashmere cardigans, pixie pants and chino pants and shorts. πŸ™‚

Haul: Guerlain Champs Elysees Rouge Automatique lipstick; DH was golfing in the US last week so I got him to bring me back a few things – some Real Techniques brushes, Alpha Hydrox Night ResQ, a Eucerin face cream that isn’t available in Canada – all inexpensive stuff but good things.

Weekend plans: all the Easter stuff, lots of yoga (my husband and I just got in from our favourite class, which we usually can’t attend because they’re only held during the regular work day) and my daughter is having her Confirmation at the Easter Vigil at the church where she’ll be getting married and then we’re having a little coffee and pastries get-together afterward.

Favourite sport to play: I don’t really play team sports but I used to enjoy riding (does yoga count as a “sport”?)

Haul: NARS Himalayas, Thunderball, & China Blue; L.A. Colors loose shadow Black Pearl; e.l.f. Studio small stipple brush & bronzer/blush duo St. Lucia (it’s said to be a dupe for NARS Laguna/Orgasm, but I actually like it more); Sinful Colors Aubergine & Hazard. Now, I am officially on a “no-buy” for the next 2 months…

Plans: Getting a haircut, today, then the usual housework, which is a bit more than usual, since my daughter has been on Spring Break.

Sport: I don’t do sports… I played when I was a kid, but I just didn’t care for the attitudes. I was a dancer, though, which is probably far more strenuous than most sports.

I happened to come across Thunderball about 6 months ago, and swatched it. I didn’t buy it then, as it’s not the sort of shade I wear too much, but about a month later, I’ve been lemming hard, LOL. I have similar shadows, like MAC Plumage, and one from a Flirt palette, and I rarely touch them, but something about the texture of Thunderball makes me think I’ll use it more. I’m thinking of pairing it with Rajasthan.

Aww. I had to maximize my laptop’s volume just to hear his snores. Haha!

Haul: China Glaze Hologram Collection (Astro-Hot, Cosmic Dust, Galactic Gray, Infra-Red, Not In This Galaxy, OMG A UFO, Strap On Your Moonboots, and When Stars Collide); MAC Pearlglide Intense Eye Liner in Industrial; and NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base.

Weekend plans: Might go out of town for a couple of weeks and relax, it’s just too hot and humid in the city! Even with the aircon on, I still feel like I’m melting. πŸ™

What’s your favorite sport to play/do?: I absolutely love horseback riding and parasailing.

Haul: Real Techniques brush, Milani lipstick, Tarte Maracuja Oil, 2 Maybelline Vivids lipsticks, 3 Physician Formula Matte eye shadow quads, 2 elf bushes, elf lip exfoliator

Plans: Going to work, then on Saturday I will go see Matchbox 20! My favorite band! πŸ˜€

Favorite Sport: Soccer

So far, the brushes I’ve had from Real Techniques have been really good and what makes them even better is the price (though a crummy brush at a bargain price is no bargain, a good quality one is amazing). I find the RT “Expert Face Brush” every bit as good as my Sephora Professional #55 or their mineral brush. I just wish they weren’t sold out so often – the sets I wanted were sold out at ULTA! (probably for good reason – loads of people realize just how good these brushes are while still being affordable)

haul-I ordered Ablaze and Silly lipstick, and Embrace me lipgloss from MAC.
weekend plans-enjoy the Easter weekend!!
favorite sport- I love the outdoors, so anything that gets me outside-hiking, swimming, and kayaking are probably my three favorites

Next time they are together, I will try to get something for you, Stacey! They don’t get together very often since, well, they don’t get along, LOL!

LOL Mellan REALLY snores!!! So cute! Tango snores too. He likes to squish into small boxes to snooze and snore πŸ˜‰

Haul: Got NARS Niagara and Montego Bay online (still waiting for them to arrive). Annnnd I got Laura Mercier Sandglow Caviar Stick as well as Clinique Curviest Caramel. It must be the season. Can’t help it!

Weekend plans: I should clean, but chances of me kicking back to enjoy the Easter weekend are high πŸ˜‰

What’s your favorite sport to play/do?: Jogging! I lack the hand-eye coordination it takes for most sports, but I’m a fairly good runner.

Haul: Laura Gellar Spackle, Tarte Oil. Dang Ulta and their 21 Days of Beauty! LOL Also I am going to go to CCO and DFCO so I don’t know what I will be getting, but will definitely be getting something. I am getting Clinique Repairwear Intensive Night Cream that the girl nicely put on hold for me.

Weekend Plans: Family Time and Easter Egg Hunt. I also need to catch up on some work. I can work for ages and I will never be done!

Favorite Sport to Play: I work out daily. I do kickboxing and I would say that I love when I get a chance to spar!

i got tom ford true coral. originally planned to buy a nude so that i would get more use out of my expensive lipstick, the nude for my skinton nc42 is pink dusk. but i don’t care for nudes, i m a bright lipstick person through and through, so i got true coral. the color is not what i expected it to be, your image is what it is on me, i was hoping it to be more pinky like i’ve seen in other google images, but like it says, it is coral. your image is accurate, but there are diff looking images out there.

is it worth it, heck no, but i had to buy it, i just had to. a 48 dollar lipstick is practically never worth it, the color wasn’t that mind blowing, similar to mac vegas volt. the only expensive lipstick i think was worth it was dragon chanel, cos you cant’ duplicate the richness of that color, and urban decay revolution, that 22 bucks lipstick does the same for me (maybe even better) than what garconne does or supposed to do. garconne looks nice, it’s glossy, it’s pretty, in fact i think it makes my lips look bigger than they are too. but it is hard to justify the 48 bucks; since 22 buck revolution is pretty close in what it does. revolution glides like nothing else.

maybe cos garconne is red in color so i m not that thrilled about it, as i have so many reds now, it takes a lot to impress me now.

tf true coral is a hair more moisturizing i think than garconne. a hair.

yes that is a very long post. i really can’t wait for mac ablaze, coming out next week, can’t wait. i did good, i hadn’t bought makeup in over a month. πŸ™‚

yes, i totally approve the mini reviews that you’re asking about a few days ago, short reviews beats no reviews. and at the frequency i check this site every day, more posts, more often.

thanks!

Thank you so much, Ms! I’m glad you are still loving your TF Lip Color! I agree with you – there’s no real “yes, absolutely worth it!” if you’re talking dollar for dollar value, but if you love it, you love it and that’s what counts!

Haul: 2 recently discontinued Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliners.

Weekend plans: Make pasta with butternut squash and browned butter!

What’s your favorite sport to play/do?: Does cuddling count? No? (In all seriousness, if martial arts count, it’s probably aikido)

☯ Haul: A few strategic purchases I’ve been meaning to make and one spontaneous. MAC Mineralize lipsticks: Elegant Accent and Lady at Play, UD eyeliner in tbd 1999 and 2 of the saturated lip pencils. Then I blew it and succumbed today to the MAC Embrace Me set.

Weekend: Enjoy easter vacation πŸ˜€ .

Favorite sport: Not a real sport but I like walking and running.

Haul: Nothing! I have to admit I’m going through a phase where I just don’t feel excited by make-up really. It’s handy, because I’m too broke and too busy to be bothering with it right now.

Weekend plans: Work, work, work! I have a deadline, but hopefully I’ll at least be able to take a break to go to Easter lunch at my parents’ house.

What’s your favorite sport to play/do?: I don’t really do sports. I enjoy classes at the gym like Zumba and kettlebells, but I don’t think of them as sports.

I suppose if I had to think of one I’d choose tennis or racquetball, even though it’s been years since I played either. I don’t really like competitive pursuits because I’m far too competitive and I throw tantrums if I lose, so I try to stay away from them for everyone’s sake!

Haul: Nothing!

Weekend Plans: WORKKKK. AND attend the Easter mass with my father at our local church!

Favorite Sport to do/play: climbing! One of the few sports that do not cause me back problems. I also really like Callanetics, it’s so relaxing. My favourite sport to watch though is judo, I’m a big fan.

Haul: A few Sonia Kashuk pieces (lip balms and shine luxe sheer lip colors), NYC Cosmetics Applelicious lip balms, a few items from the Etude House Sweet Recipe collection, and a Skin Food BB cream. The applelicious lip balms are so cute!

Fave sport: How about none? I’m team mouse potato. I guess yoga would be my fave, if that even counts.

Haul: Lush’s Ocean Salt! I got a sample of Angels on Bare Skin and Breath of Fresh Air too.
Weekend plans: work ;_;
What’s your favorite sport to play/do?: I don’t play any sports, but Hockey is my true passion. Let’s go Pens <3

What’s your favorite sport to play/do?: Volleyball!

Haul: Ulta’s remaining stock of UD 24/7’s in Graffiti and Flipside (am I a jerk or what?) pink grapefruit body scrub, Fekkai Color Technician conditioner, Murad post acne spot treatment gel.
Weekend plans: work
Favorite sport to play: does air hockey count?

Haul: Many many Jack Black Lip Balms πŸ™‚ The new version of EL’s Double Wear liquid and powder (which, I have to say is STILL clinging to my face 24 hours later – ah the joys of dry skin! LOL) and EVERY foundation Revlon currently makes (just in my shade though LOL for testing). I couldn’t find their mineral foundation but I think it’s being phased out? Not sure. OH! And I ordered Clinique’s new CC Cream to try πŸ™‚

Weekend plans: Family stuff on Sunday but Saturday is open… hoping to get out of town and do something fun πŸ™‚

What’s your favorite sport to play/do?: Not a sports fan but I like going to the gym and working out – usually there at least 5 days a week (I shoot for 6).

I had to order from Clinique’s website. No counters I called (from around 100 mile radius) had it in… should be here on Monday πŸ™‚ I’m curious about it!

Haul: Zoya nail polishes in Storm, Aurora and Lotus. Also, a huge bottle of Remove+.

Weekend plans: reading for school, and I might visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

What’s your favorite sport to play?: Does yoga count? LOL. I also have to coerce my 6 year old babysitting charge into eating veggies. That should count as a sport. πŸ™‚

Haul: I was a complete nail polish hoarder… 2 revlon colorstays, 2 l’oreals from the spring collection and 6 opi polishes…

Weekend plans: Some fsmily time fof Easter and possible lesson planning, teachers are just like the kids when coming back from spring break lol
