Haul: I repurchased Diorshow Maximizer Lash Plumping Serum! I get really decent-looking lashes with one coat of this and two coats of good mascara 🙂
Weekend plans: The house needs some thorough cleaning!
Do you use anything to scent your home/room?: I light a candle sometimes, but most of the time the house is not scented.

Also, I am in love with Scentsy for scenting my home. In all disclosure I am a rep for them but only because I was already obsessed and I needed the money and discount to feed my addiction.
I don’t know if you’ve tried it but it is the only thing that really keeps the scent coming in my place. Also, the warmers are so pretty and really up my decor.

OMG I <3 Scentsy they are the strongest without being cloying and seem to last the longest. I have an addiction to it too. LOL! I used to do Gold Canyon Candles, but Scentsy seems safer with pets around (my kitten would try to swat the candle flame which was all bad).
You ever notice the BBW plug-ins stop working after a while? and i mean a short while. Ive bought dozens and its always the same thing. Anyway I just burn incense. The smell lingers around even days after. Sticks to curtains etc. Im such a hippie. LOL
I haven’t, to be honest, but I forget to change them all the time, lol!

Do you use anything to scent your home/room?: I’m a Yankee Candle fanatic and collector (nerdy, i know) so I always have either a tart or candle burning. Right now I’ve got Black Coconut in the bedroom and Waikiki Melon in the living room.
Have you tried TokyoMilk before? I’m very curious about the range!
Absolutely. I have 4 other perfumes from their regular line, Dead Sexy being my favorite. I also have 4 other lip elixirs and 2 Bon Bon lip balms. Honestly I can’t recommend either formula of lip balms performance wise but some of the fragrances are nice. They are more novelty than actual quality.

Haul: A lot this week! I won some Rouge Bunny Rouge eyeshadows in a twitter contest a little while back and they arrived. I ordered some Addiction Cheek Sticks from Ichibankao – they arrived. I also bought a couple drugstore items.
Weekend plans: Going to The Makeup Show LA! I’m excited! I also have a 1yr old’s birthday party which will be really fun, she’s super cute.

Haul: Guerlain Rouge Automatiques in Apres L’Ondee and Vega; Rouge G in Gracy; Shine Automatique in Pour Troubler.
I brought small acrylic pots with me and the kind sales assistant gave me generous samples of Parure Gold (01) and Lingerie de Peau (31). I told her I wanted to try the formulas out first. 🙂
Weekend plans: I might invite a few friends over for dinner.
Do you use anything to scent your home/room? I like lighting candles at night. Sometimes, I mix herbs and essential oils when I have the time. Or just do an arrangement of fresh flowers. 🙂

Christine, which do you think would be better suited for my combination skin ( I get a little oily on the cheeks when the weather’s too hot), Parure Gold or Lingerie de Peau?
If it’s just when it’s hot, then you’ll like Lingerie de Peau. Parure Gold is more matte and has more coverage.

Haul: Nothing so far; I’m thinking of picking up Armani Lasting Silk foundation this weekend.
Weekend plans: My kids are going to a birthday party tomorrow, so I might try to go out to dinner with my husband.
Do you use anything to scent your home/room?: Nothing at the moment. I like using oils with reeds. I feel that they do double duty of fragrance and decoration.
Any recommendations on brands for oils/reeds? I’ve tried a few but don’t feel like they throw enough!
Mellan is so sweet! I love clean puppies. Their fur is so soft!
Haul: Nars new finishing powder, Jasmine eyeshadow palette, Sugarbomb, two of the Bare Minerals Ready eyeshadow quads, and some L’Oreal nail polishes (which I’m really impressed with! Going on day four and only one chip and minor tip wear).
Weekend plans: Laundry! Also, our friend is having a barbecue this weekend–it’s supposed to be 50 degrees and sunny. I’m pretty excited spring is almost here!
Do you use anything to scent your home/room?: I use tarts when we’ll be having company, but I’m sensitive to scents so don’t use them all the time.

This weeks haul: Tom Ford Black Orchid lipstick! I am finally caving in to this huge lemming lol. It’s not shipping until 3/9/13, but as long as I get it, I don’t care!

Haul: WET N WILD “Bronzer” in the cabana shade- it’s more like a highlight, Revlon Whipped Foundation in 150 Buff, L’oreal lip caresse? lip glossy/lipstick hybrid thing in Fiery Veil, L’Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black, OZ Theodora and Glinda (will prob return Theodora- it has fall out issues, and it’s just too dark/muddy on me). Debating picking up an Hourglass Ambient powder or Anastascia eyebrow pencil…We’ll see.
Weekend plans: Laundry, relaxing and working out.
Do you use anything to scent your home/room?: I have a Yankee candle on hand for lingering bathroom odours, but I find that opening the windows is much better than artificial smells.
Opening windows is definitely good! When it isn’t too cold (or hot), lol!
Haul: Revlon Colorstay and Nearly Naked foundations, replacement Rimmel Stay Matte powder and L’oreal Lineur Intense gelpencil or whatever it’s called, Hard Candy Tiki highlighter, Physician’s Formula CoverRX concealer, Seche Vite, replacement Too Faced Primed and Poreless.

Do you use anything to scent your home/room?: Yes, I love the B&BW 3 wick candles (very picky about scents though)- right now I’m loving the Cinnamon Frosting and Vanilla Bean Noel.

She just loves everything that smells pretty! She loves my perfumes and body butters too. You should see her attack me after I put on lipbalm!
LOL! Mellan can definitely tell when I’ve put on perfume or the like but doesn’t usually go too crazy!
Haul: It was a busy week for me – Le Metier de Beaute Melange de Colour spring palette, Jack Black lip balm quad (the best rec ever from Temptalia!), Disney Jasmine Compact Mirror, Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment 2012 holiday set (so late to the party, I know!)
Weekend plans: Cleaning, preparing for a job interview Monday, and prep cooking – I’m trying to get into the habit of planning meals for the week, so Sunday will be lots of slicing/dicing/cooking/freezing.
Do you use anything to scent your home/room?: I love candles! I use Bath & Body Works signature collection and Henri Bendel candles. I am so infatuated with Diptyque candles, but don’t own one yet – I know I’d fall in love, and it’s pricey and dangerous for my wallet!

Weekend plans: Not sure. Our normal game got canceled due to Emerald City Comicon so I don’t have plans for Saturday, but Sunday is work and then I’m getting a facial.
Home scents: Nope. I’m too sensitive to scent in general; if I tried anything to scent my home it’d probably give me a migraine OR an asthma attack or both. Sigh.
What kind of facial are you going for?
It’s a personalized facial, 60 min, so whatever my esthetician decides I need, I guess. I asked her about it the last time I got waxed and she recommended I come in because I have some skin congestion issues that she wants to take care of.

Haul: A new Falcon computer,a couple Lancôme 5 Shadow & Liner Palettes, Hypnôse Star Mascara and some fun gifts with purchase.
Weekend plans: Planting some seeds and setting up a shelving unit with grow lights so my garden will be filled with color this year!
Home scents:I scent my home by simmering orange peel with pumpkin pie seasoning and the scent is amazing,although I would like to figure out something that would be more spring/summer fragrance that is natural.
I have six parrots and can’t use anything artificially scented because most scented items are toxic to birds due to their sensitive respiratory system.
If you look at the back of some of the Febreeze sprays it will say that it is toxic to use around birds,kind of makes you think twice about using it!

Haul: It’s not here yet, but I got bareMinerals “The Scenic Route” and a bunch of Ecotools brushes: an angled liner brush, a flat shadow brush, a smudge brush, and a buffing brush.
Weekend Plans: The apartment needs a big clean, that’s the main thing! It has been warm in Minnesota, so I’ll try to spend a lot of time outside, too. (By warm I mean “above freezing,” but you learn to think of that as warm.)
Do you scent your home?: Sort of. I really like the BBW “London Calling” candle scent, which smells like lemon with a hint of black tea. It’s a great scent, but it is weak and it doesn’t do a lot for the apartment. 🙁
Our apartment is tiny and the whole place normally just smells like coffee, and sometimes coffee + garlic + onions, depending on what was for dinner.
London Calling sounds like a great scent but too bad it doesn’t throw more 🙁

He is SUPER soft post-bath! That is definitely the best part!
Haul: So, my Marionnaud (with Chanel Dragon) ended up being cancelled. I half expected this, but it still pissed me off a great deal (and these idiots didn’t even tell me, I had to check on their website): it may seem stupid, but it was such a tough week (which is now over, wooo) and it really was the one thing to cheer me up!
BUT I just won an auction on ebay for a Chanel Rouge Allure Laque in Dragon that’s touted as new, cheaper than on the website. Here’s hoping it gets home in pristine condition!
I also picked up a few days before 3 Chanel Le Stylo (Beryl, Taupe, and Santal. One was free, sooo…) and a MAC brow pencil for, well, my brows. Talk about over-compensating.
Weekend plans: Relaxing, and work a wee bit too! Might go to a museum tomorrow morning.
Do you use anything to scent your home/room? Nothing. I live in a tiny studio so I feel it would be easily overpowering, and it’s not my thing anyway.

Haul: A Herbosophy lip balm and a very intense black pencil eyeliner by ga-de…nothing lasts on my waterlines tho but it’s nice for it to be as black as possible while it lasts(also means that it will look good for a LIL while longer). I got a haircut too 😀 still the same asymmetrical(spelling >.<) bob, only more asymmetrical now and trimmed in the back and at the bangs.

hehe, dad uses a lot of timed sprays to scent the house(bathroom, hall, my parents' room). he has an obsession w/ it. i hate it when it spritz close to me. we used to have one that spritzed everytime i went to the bathroom, especially at night…imagine how scared i was..even tho i knew it was there…

home scents- I use a combination of the melting tarts, candles, and plug ins. I try to use a scent in the same family (ie-balsam,cedar scents) until used up.I love BBW-Winter night. I find that using the combination of all three methods is very effective. I have an issue that makes it a little harder to scent my house -my ceilings are high so the scent doesn’t linger as long-but using all three gives me a fragrance that is on the right level

How are you liking those B&BW plug ins? I bought 4 of them last week – 3 for the bedrooms and one for the living room. I can’t smell them at all in my bedroom! I can smell the one in my 9 year old’s room a little, and none in my 12 year olds or the living room unless I walk past it. What’s up with that!

Haul: I made my first purchase from Inglot and created a 10 shadow neutral palette. WEN hair stuff (Special on QVC tomm) also pre-ordered the ST. Tropez self tanner mousse that will be on special in a few weeks. (can’t wait to try it, feeling very pale!)
Weekend plans: cleaning and laundry! Sunday my boyfriend is in a chili cook-off so I will be taste testing YUM!
Do you use anything to scent your home/room?: Yankee Candle tarts. For my bedroom I like clean, light scents. For the rest of the house I like comforting or seasonal scents.

Haul: I was trying to not buy anything through February but I broke down and bought my first Asian BB cream on Ebay last night. Now I just have to be patient for the 2 weeks it will take to get here.
Weekend plans: Get some cleaning done! I’m moving some things into my office because we will be starting some renovations in a couple of weeks.
Do you use anything to scent your home/room?: I love candles but I’ve got a little guy and cats in my house so the candles only come out every once in a while.

I decided on the Holika Holika Moisture Petit BB. I would love to try a Skin79 BB cream but I figured I give a less expensive one a try before I splurge.

My haul: I did lots of hauling at Ulta (Grand Opening!) Off the top of my head, I bought five Maybelline Color Whisper lipsticks, two China Glaze Its-A-Trapeze polishes (1 for me, 1 for a friend), some other polishes, a NYX powder foundation, some Real Techniques brushes, and…I don’t remember the rest! I did buy a BareMinerals Ready 4.0 e/s quad during their online sale. Bought it on Monday, got it Thursday! And I LOVE IT. Your reviews REALLY helped me a ton in deciding which one to get.
Weekend plans: Wait for my new car to arrive!

I use BBW Wallflowers plug-ins and candles, Febreze plug ins and Glade plug-ins. The Glade and Febreze stuff is almost always practically free after coupons.

Weekend plans: I have to work Saturday (boo!) but I’m going swimming on Sunday (yay!)
Home scents: My apartment smells pretty neutral but I occasionally just use air freshener from the drugstore if it smells weird.

Aww. Mellan is so adorable! My dogs totally do the same thing. They have quite a bit of hair though so it takes a little while for them to get fully dry and their beds end up a bit wet. 🙂

Do you use anything to scent your home/room?: I have a small apartment so a lot of scents can get pretty overwhelming in there. But I will on occasion light a BB&W candle, use one of their Wallflowers, or light incense. I can also be really sensitive to a lot of fragrances so I try not to use them too often.

Haul: I got my Sephora box in the mail with the Jasmine stuff. The quad was shattered so I need to exchange that (I am justifying a trip to the mall).
Weekend Plans: I am getting a massage and facial tomorrow. I just did the mani/pedi and waxing (why oh why do I put myself through the pain?!). It is my first facial in a long time and I am excited! Sunday I will probably be lazy.
I scent with Scentsy I also have these rings that go around the lightbulbs that scent the room.

Dogs are so nice when they’re clean, but I suspect they consider it a grave insult to their being. My mom’s dog usually goes out of his way to avenge himself by finding the dirtiest thing possible and rubbing against it the next day.
Haul: Japonesque retractable lip brush. I gave my old one to my sister, and I figured I had procrastinated long enough in replacing it. 🙂
Weekend Plans: I’m working all weekend. Night shift at that, UGH. Otherwise, I’m trying to keep life simple right now. I’m looking at $500 worth of car repairs, so I have to behave myself in the meanwhile. 😛
Do you use anything to scent your room/home? I like incense, but I rarely light it. In general, I’m very sensitive to strong scents, and florals in particular tend to ignite my allergies.

Oh boy did I ever haul lol!
Went to lush got a limited edition under the covers (they were on under cover boss Canada) massage bar, huge hunk of porridge soap (yum!) and sexy peel. Went to Mac and got Russian red lipstick, rebel steamy eyeshadow, and frankly Scarlett blush. Went to sephora got nars Mata Hari, mufe aqua cream in 15 and ysl rouge volupte in 11 🙂

Haul: I haven’t really been spending much lately. The only new things I’ve purchased in the last month are Nivea Vanilla & Macadamia Lip Butter, MAC Soft Ochre Paint Pot, and another MAC 217. To be honest, I’m slightly disappointed with all of the items, lol. The lip butter is much harder and feels thin on the lips compared to the Raspberry Rose one I have. The paint pot feels slightly dried out, which is a bummer, and the 217 brush has a lot of shorter hairs at the bottom that keep wanting to splay out. I just find all this very obnoxious! I think the only product I have any desire to purchase at the moment is another MAC 226. This is one of the better brushes they’ve come out with, so it irks me that they haven’t made it permanent.
Weekend plans: Nothing exciting…just the usual stuff.
As for scents, I love to buy candles, but I forget to light them, LOL. I mostly just use room sprays. I will sometimes light candles, but usually only when company is coming over.
That Mellan photo is just precious! Clean doggies are the best, but it only seems to last such a short time. My dog always wants to go outside right after a bath, and it’s like he makes it his mission to rub against everything and find as much dirt he possibly can to stink him up and track inside. Oy.

What room sprays do you use?
I usually just grab a Glade spray; I go gaga when the holiday ones come out.
Also, quick question if you don’t mind answering; I think you are about NC25-30, right? I was wondering, what shade do you use in the NARS TM? I want to get it for my mom, but I’m not sure if I should get her Alaska or St. Moritz.
I’m actually not sure, because the shade I tested was too dark for me!
My haul was theBalm’s Shady Lady vol 1 and 3 eyeshadow palettes. It was a buy one get one free event.
