Haul: Guerlain Cruel Gardenia highlighter (found a Shopper’s Drug Mart that had THREE, though I only bought one and earned a ton of points), Stila Grace eye shadow, Marcelle BB cream, another Revlon Lip Butter, some Gosh hair colour (does that count? it’s actually amazing hair colour!) and another GOSH eye pencil
Weekend plans: my niece’s (and god-daughter) confirmation tonight, dinner with friends Saturday evening and Sunday, the gym and then relax….
Favourite jewel: after diamonds, it would be sapphire
Hoping for a smooth and painless move! No hauls this week so far but Sunday will have some for me. Hitting up Orlando outlets and Mall of Millenia with sisters. Have a good weekend.
Ah…moving 🙁 One of my big sister’s is moving this weekend. My back is already killing me just thinking about helping her 🙂
Haul: Naked2! I’m just going to get photographing it done today so I can start playing with it 🙂
Weekend plans: MAC spring collections have finally made it to Belgium! I know I want Added Goodness (on top of checking other stuff out), so it looks like Brussels on Saturday! Sunday I’ll work on backup blog posts, because next week looks busy!!!
What’s your favorite jewel?: Pearl! I own a very simple necklace with a dangling pearl. It’s the piece I wear when I want to feel chic and polished 🙂
And I forgot to ask: is that Mellan’s look when he’s caught doing something naughty?

Weekend plans: Hang pictures and curtains, Organize my jewelry armoire and hang out with the fam.
What’s your favorite jewel? Diamond or Garnet.
Haul: Absolutely nothing, for the 2nd week in a row! We are saving for a down payment on a home, so I think for now its best to keep buying to a minimum (let’s see how long it will last!)
Weekend plans: Grilling steaks tonight, taking our son to the aquarium tomorrow, then hitting the gym, going out for crab…and…then maybe some rest on Sunday!
Favorite jewel: Can I have 2? Sapphires and Diamonds 🙂

Haul: Mac 168 not sure how I feel about it. MUFE aqua liquid liner in Black- If I could just master how to do a simple upper lash line then I will only wear Burberry Trench and that from now on.

I love Mellan. I was just reading your “About Us” section, and isn’t it time you updated the “boyfriend” to “fiance”? It’s so funny, through reading the blog all these years, I feel like I know you and Mellan!
Haul: I got 3 polishes from the OPI Holland collection, and 2 Essie polishes from their winter collection (a bit late, but darker shades just work better for me). I’m also trying out the seaweed line from The Body Shop… all I’m missing right now are the toner and the mask; if it works out for me, I can’t wait to get those too!
Weekend plans: I take an Arabic class on Saturday mornings, super early, so no epic Friday night plans for me. I also have a friend coming to the city and I’m sure we’ll do dinner at some point, but I can’t spend too much time socializing. Need to work on my thesis for grad school…
Favorite jewel: I’m with you on the emerald! My birthstone is ruby, but I’ve never been into reds…

Mellan is such a cutie! <3 I can't wait to see my doggy over spring break. I guess my haul this week is the clarisonic. I finally picked it up and can't wait for it to charge.

This weekend I have to go to the mall for clothes for my son! He is over 7 and growing like a weed! Pants that used to fit him a month ago are already a bit short 😛 It never ends LOL

Haul: Nothing, yet! Trying to see if anyone wants to make an Ulta run so I can get some Anastasia products.
Weekend plans: My husband and I just moved as well. We had to wait a week for the new carpet, so we weren’t allowed to unpack anything upstairs. Guess what we get to do this weekend? Argh!

Hi Christine! I have some questions for you.
When choosing a shade for filling in eyebrows, should we opt for a shade lighter? Even if I’m an Asian & I have black hair? Do you think using MAC’s Carbon eyeshadow is appropriate? If not, then could you suggest an eyeshadow shade for me to try out to fill in my eyebrows?
Also, what is your holy grail brush for filling in your eyebrows?

A little lighter, yes – I would not use Carbon as it is too dark! I use MAC Espresso.

Weekend plans: my good friend had a baby yesterday, so I’m going to hang out with her,

Haul: 24/7 glide on pencil in Binge, Perversion and Bourbon and Mac 130 brush
Weekend plans: Nothing much because it’s going to rain. My sons’ swimming lessons, grocery shopping and relax cause’ I spent the last 3 days between airplanes and trains. By the way, UK ladies, FABULOUS country!!!First time them and absolutely loved it 🙂

Haul- I hauled MAC Studio Sculpt foundation in NW20 with the Mineralize Concealer in the same shade. I’m testing them out today to see how they fare on my skin. I’m a little leery after reading multiple bad reviews. So far I’ve had none of the issues people complained about, and I really like the finish. We’ll see how it lasts through the day!
Weekend Plans- Same as usual- a little working out, a little shopping, a little cleaning, a lot of relaxing with my boyfriend.
Favourite Jewel- Diamonds – wish they weren’t so evil.
Haul: Butter London “The Black Knight” & “Victoriana”. Zoya “Chloe”. So much for that nail polish no buy…
Weekend Plans: Lots of baking! Gonna try a recipe for nutella banana bread, plus cookies for a friend who lost his job, and some cookies for my sister’s friend who is in the hospital. I hope chocolate makes them feel better even if it’s just a lil bit, I know it works for me.

Weekend plans: running a Mage: the Awakening LARP tomorrow, and installing an invisible fence in the backyard on Saturday (if the weather holds). My husky and shar pei have BAD habits of jumping the real fence.
Favorite jewel: Ooooh that’s a hard one. I’d say Celestite (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Celestite_crystal_crust.jpg) but it isn’t REALLY a jewel, so I’m going to go with peridot (love my greens!).
Haul: Just some China Glaze nail polishes (Make Some Noise, Fast Track, and Luxe & Lush.
Weekend plans: Supposed to go get a pedicure with a friend tonight.

Haul: I was doing well and not buying anything all week when I got sucked into the MAC counter today… so I picked up: MAC’s Gloss (I’ve never owned anything like this product so I’m excited to play with it); MAC MSFN in Medium Dark to use as a bronzer; and MAC’s new mineralize concealer (the MA said that this is a good conealer for covering larger areas and looks like skin, so I figured I’d give it a shot).
Weekend Plans: Get my hair trimmed, buy flowers for a friend, catch up on some zzzs and homework.
Favorite Jewel: Blue Sapphire
Hope you like the MAC Gloss! Here are some of my favorite uses for it:
-On lid over shadow or without shadow for a glossy eye. (It will crease the shadow, which I’m sure is a statement of the obvious, lol.).
– Used as a glossy highlight on face/body.
– Fun to mix glitters with for a night out. I’ll pat some on the cheek bone, along the temple, and above the brow in that “C” shape then dab on some glitter.
– Great to mix with pigments to create customized glosses.
– And pretty obvious, a clear lip gloss! Haha.

Oh mellan is so cute just want to eat him with a spoon. I love animal, they bring such a joy, even when you are not having such a good day. I got mac budding love and force of love lipstick, and I went to sephora and got makeup forever eyeshadow #26, my second eyeshadow from MUFE. Plans, just cleaning and doing laundry.
Haul: An ELF bronzer. Pretty exciting.

Favorite jewel: Even though emerald is my birthstone, I love sapphires.
1. haul- Mac Chen Man 3 mineralize shadows, 2 lipsticks, Lancome new Purple Jewels gel eyeliner, Mac Sweet as Cocoa blush, Clinigue eye cream and blackberry eyeshadow duo- I also have the 2 new spring ysl palettes , Chanel blush in Tempting and 4 new ysl lipsticks coming that I ordered- a good makeup week.
2. weekend plans- our church dinner group of 8 here at our home tomorrow night- church and going to lunch on Sunday and then a nap.
3. favorite jewel- sapphire
Oh- I forgot to mention hubs told me to order some perfume as a belated Valentine’s gift so I ordered Dahlia Noir by Givenchy. I received it today and I love it- pretty soft powdery fragrance.
Ugh, I hate moving, so you have all my sympathies and best wishes. Hope that the move is as painless as possible.
I’ve actually been good and haven’t really hauled anything, other than replacing my Korres facial wipes, which I now can’t live without. My real beauty haul actually relates to hair colour, which I’m planning on changing.

Weekend plans: I’m sick and have been off work a couple of weeks getting used to new medication (morphine patches take a while to let you feel normal again) so Friday night a few friends are round to eat Japanese takeaway and chill with me, Saturday I plan on sleeping all day (I’m sleeping 12 hours a night and at least 6 hours a day at the minute) and Sunday dragging myself into town for a couple of hours to chill with my brother and toddler nephew. Other than that, continue watching Desperate Housewives from the beginning… gotta do something while off work!
Favourite Jewel: I don’t really have a favourite, but I love sapphires and emeralds.
last saturday i bought a set by the balm for $12 at marshalls!! it has a bronzer, hot mama blush, stainac and mascara. i haven’t tried any of the products yet, but i i will today. i am totally lovin’ the balm’s prodcuts and the fact that i can get them at a discount. this may be one of my new fav. brands 🙂
