Weekend plans: preparing a paper and presentation over the figure of the Victorian actress and hanging out with my kids.
Last book I read: Super Sad True Love Story, which is quite possibly the best book I’ve read in 2011. It’s an updated version of 1984, and both wickedly funny and eerily plausible.
Haul: from sephoras friend and family sale I got Dior amber glow, a brush for my clarisonic, too faced holiday palette, nars blush palette, and the Taylor swift perfume gift set, can’t wait to get my order!!!
Weekend plans: don’t have any but I will hang out with my boyfriend 🙂
last book: I don’t really read so I think the last book that I read besides textbooks was eclipse
Haul: Maybelline Fit foundation in 115 (the search for “the one” is officially on!), Revlon Wild Orchid lipstick, and whatever damage I rend unto Sephora tonight ;D

Last Book I Read: Almost finished with Michael Cunningham’s By Nightfall.
Shopping for F &F was fun although I felt bad because it didn’t look like anyone else was getting the discount ( or wasn’t smiling as hard as I was) I wanted to run up and tell ppl to just order online. I got nothing too exciting- sephora paddle brush, sephora comb, jack black balm squad, locctaine hand creme, allnighter spray, Nars powder in Fiji, a small bottle of b&b conditioner, a small bottle of Pacifica cocoa butter lotion. I want to order online and get a guerlain bronzer and touché éclat but I’m prolly going to wait till VIB sale. I also purchased a clarisonic Mia for my sisters birthday; which I’m going to return today b/c she informed me that she prolly wouldn’t use it (gasp). I feel so terrible the SA wrapped it up and everything I’m getting her a pair of hunter rainboots instead for sure will get tons of use outta those.
Got the Mac 179 b/c I don’t own a kabuki at all; and the manager promised to buy me a brush canister next month when she goes to a pro store b/c I wasn’t too impressed with the roll.
In a few weeks I plan to replace my almost empty MUFE hd with Armani luminous silk.
Oh and this weekend going out with my sis for her 21!
Wow just realized I can’t remember the last book I read; just a lot of textbooks and articles in college; I really don’t like anything fiction so reading random articles on the web satisfys me!

beautifully.
Weekend plans: Running errands, getting the house ready for the upcoming holidays & hopefully at
some point starting a new book.

Haul: Tons of Origins products, I’m on a skincare kick again: Night-A-Mins, Modern Friction, Checks and Balances, GinZing Eye Cream, Clear Improvement Mask, and Drink Up Mask! I got 15%-20% off all these so not as bad as it looks!
Sadly, I also got a few other things: Murad Active Radiance Serum, Renee Rouleau Girls Night Out Kit, Renee Rouleau 17% Glycolic Serum, and Renee Rouleau Balancing Skin Tonic. (My wallet hates me this month!)
Weekend Plans: It’s Homecoming at my Alma Mater so I will be tailgating and watching the game.

I hauled: OPI Glimmer Wonderland. I’m so excited.
and also, when dogs yawn it means something very different than humans. They use it to show their discomfort about a situation, and also to try to “calm” themselves and whatever is causing them stress. totally opposite of humans, who yawn to show boredom! 🙂
The picture of Mellan yawning is so adorable! I found myself going “Aww…” every time my cat yawned or stretch. She was so adorable and I missed her so so much. (She passed away two months ago and everything that has reminded me of her brings such a bittersweet memory.)
Anyway, before I start crying again, my Friday Haul:
– Chanel Rouge Carat polish. I’ve got it in the mail today so I can’t wait to try it.
– I placed my Sephora’s F&F order last night. I’ve ordered my staples: YSL Faux Cils mascara, Dior DiorShow lash serum, and Clinique Acne Solutions clarifying lotion. I also ordered some new color cosmetics to try: Stila Smudge Stick eye liner in Blue Ribbon and Illamasqua blush in Lover.
Weekend plans: Preparing for my midterm exam next week.
The last book I’ve read: Well, if you are asking about the last book I read for fun, it would be “The Cobra Event” by Richard Preston. It’s about a vicious infectious disease outbreak and the main character is a doctor from the CDC who is trying to investigate and find the source of the agent.
The actual last book I’ve read is “A First Course in Linear Model Theory,” a very dry read for my biostatistics course 😛

I also got some Philosophy shower gels, Rusk thermal serum, and a CHI thermal brush today at tjmaxx and some fragrance oils from Bath and Body Works since they had a sale going on..time to stock up on the oils! Last night I ordered a bunch of stuff from Sephora using my code I got for the F&F sale, hopefully I’ll get it next week!
