It’s like melon – the fruit – or like watermelon. It’s short for “Magellan” technicalyl, and just took away the -ag haha.
Haul: I went on a Sephora and Ulta binge this week. Picked up NARS Summer 11 collection, OPI Pirates of the Caribbean nail polish, Benefit B Right skin care products, and some other odds and ends. I also just picked up Benefit’s Cha-Cha Tint on HSN.com. Bonus score! 😀

My complexion is completely different to yours: I have fair skin, pink undertones, green eyes and blonde hair. I have a tip – your arm swatches give a fairly accurate idea of how products will work on me. Maybe this could help other people?

Favorite summer scent: it’s getting colder here and my favorite scents are winter ones (richer, sweeter, full of vanilla, hmm). and I’m not loyal to perfumes. But this summer I found myself reaching for Ange ou Demon by Givenchy quite often.

Haul: ordered a few Lippmann polishes from the beauty.com F&F sale along with a Lorac 3D liquid lustre and a Jack Black lip balm. Also stopped in at Sephora and picked up a Tarte amazonian clay blush in Tipsy, Illamasqua pigment in Ore and MUFE HD blush in PDA. Got a Too Faced palette as my 500 point perk!
Weekend plan: date with the husband tomorrow night before baby arrives, cleaning and lots of R&R

we got a new puppy last night. Her dad is a huskey/australian shepard and her mom is a gold retriver/yellow lab. Will be going to pet co here in a bit. Hopefully Jack and his new sister bond well : )

Weekend plans: damnable finals week! I mean, what a wonderful chance to learn more by writing a 6 page paper for English Lit, a 3 page paper for World Lit, rereading “Hamlet”, revising my Columbia app essay, and writing a final assignment for American Lit. Thankfully, this is just a short answer paper. I have to study for my math final. I also have to meet up with a photographer on Saturday to discuss upcoming shoots.
Favorite summer lip color: these are sort of new in my stash, but I find myself liking NYX Twist and Hebe. Everyone I know is relieved to see me easing up on red.
I bought a ton of MAC this week – 3 empty palettes, about 6 shadows, and a new brush!
Haul – Huge one at B&BW – I read that they discontinued my favorite scent (Coconut Lime Verbena) and felt the need to stock up.

Other – MeMeMe lipgloss in Kiss, MUA lipglosses in shades 4 and 5 (great value at £1 each), Bourjois Effet 3D lipgloss in Framboise Magnific, OCC lip tar in Harlot, 8 La Femme blush refills (amazing at £2.95 each) and Rimmel Glam’Eyes Day 2 Night mascara with a ‘2-in-1 magic cap’ which is clearly a copy of MAC’s Haute & Naughty, but half the price.
This weekend I am planning to use up a couple of boxes of chocolates which I discovered have just passed their Best Before date. No doubt I’ll regret it when my clothes get too tight again
Haul: My husband came back from a business trip to Germany and picked up some things I had requested: Anny nail polishes and a quattro shadow compact from Art Deco with 6 shadows to play with. He picked up Kenzo Indigo and Chanel Chance on his own for me and with his layover in London got me the Vaseline lip therapy tins in Rosy Tint! So excited to play with them all! I got my Kevin Aucoin Hautelook order as well! LOVE the eyelash curler! Ebay purchase of MAC Dame Edna lipstick in Kanga-Rouge, and finally, Essie polish in Sew Psyched and Wrapped in Rubies.
Weekend Plans: Belated shopping spree for Mother’s Day since hubby was gone last weekend.

Went and picked up the OPI pirates of the caribbean collection and only picked up two colors: mermaid tears and sparrow me the drama, from essie I picked up fair game from their new collection and the last color is from china glazes’ summer collection electric pineapple. I’ve also been on a perfume binge I brought Vera Wang Princess, an oldie but goodie Gucci Envy Me, and Marc Jacobs Daisy. I’ve also lost 24 pounds and now can fit itno a size 8 gap long and lean jeans yeah.
