Haul: theBalm Shady Lady, Vol.2, NARS All Night Lipgloss (I think that’s the name – it was $10 on Sephora), Jack Black Lip Balm (one can never have too many!)
Weekend plans: I have a ton of reading to do for school, but hopefully will squeeze in some fun with the good weather we’ve been having.
Does your shampoo/conditioner match: Yes! I always have them match. It feels so odd to use different ones to me.

Haul: Just received my Shiseido eyelash curler. Love it! It fits my eyes better than Shu’s.
Weekend plans: Going out with a friend and relaxing.
Does your shampoo/conditioner match: Actually I don’t use conditioner, just hydrating masks, and they rarely match my shampoo!
More products arrived! Rosebud Salves (Mocha Rose, Rose and the tube one), elf mineral eyeshadow primer and elf small angled brush 🙂
Have you tried the Mocha Rose yet? I was wondering if it was worth buying.
I love it! 🙂 it smells like vanilla.
Another great haul this week, after getting some of the Mega Metal shadows and Flaunting It lip colour last week.
I got Paparazz-she, Dandizette, Unflappable and Odalisque Mega Metals, Scan-delicious, So Vain and Temper Tantra Kissable Lip Colours, Gulabi lipstick, and Solar White, Cool Heat, Gulf Stream and Climate Blue eyeshadows.
Wonder Woman isn’t out here in the UK yet, but someone at Selfridges put some of the items on the website anyway – probably hadn’t cleared it with the people on the MAC counter first. I took a chance and ordered Marquise d’, Spitfire, Athena’s Kiss and Wonder Woman, and they all arrived a couple of days later. I see the items were taken down again a few days later, so I’m guessing someone alerted them to the fact it shouldn’t be on there yet. I love them all – I’m a happy bunny 🙂

Weekend plans – My husband gets back from a long biz trip so i’m looking forward to spending time with him + catching up with friends + figuring out what i’m wearing/doing on V’day…yay shopping.

Haul: Eve Pearl Concealer Trio “A”, Tri-Fold Eyebrow Razor and The Eye Palette-Pretty N Pink (free with order). I’m really impressed with there eyeshadows. I wasn’t planing on buying them but I think there lovely and travel friendly. The Concealer Trio “A” I got because of the fair foundation shades. Unfortunately the lightest shade is still a little dark on me. >__< Stupid ice.
Does your shampoo/conditioner match:
No but I use 3 different shampoos during the week. lol I use Aveeno NOURISH+ REVITALIZE Shampoo, Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo and Ojon Ultra Hydrating Shampoo depending on the day of the week. I working through my tube of Pureology Conditioner, I forget the name of it but it's a thick conditioning mask. Once I've finished that I'll be using my Ojon Ultra Hydrating Conditioner and Ojon® Restorative Hair Treatment (double size tube of that).
Apparently it don’t like the pained faces I made and remove the center text between the two…so:
Cures my ultra fair skin tone. But at least I can use the wheel as concealer.
Weekend plans: Helping my Mom out since she has an ankle brace. Stupid ice.
Haul: Marquid D’ and Mighty Aphrodite blush- I caved- The worst part, I skipped the Emancipation lipgloss bc of the ridiculous sized applicator. Low and Behold, I come home and my mom, unprovoked and unaware of my trip to MAC, tells me I have Brigitte Bardot lips. My ultimate goal. WTF MAC, WTF. Now I obviously have to buy the lipgloss.
Weekend plans: Spending the weekend at the Westin hotel with my boyfriend in Toronto. Yay!
Does your shampoo/conditioner match: Nope, I rotate pretty frequently. I keep my hair guessing.
GREAT THING THIS WEEK- I’m one week into Weight Watchers, and I’ve lost 5 recorded pounds!

Shampoo/Conditioner match – Always. I usually run out of shampoo first so I end up buying a travel size bottle to use with the rest of the conditioner.
Oh Mellan, I’ll be your valentine! We can go for a walk in the woods, have a delicious steak dinner, and cuddle all night.

Interesting: I think it’s odd if you *do* match your shampoo and conditioner. Wouldn’t you want to use the best product in each category for your type of hair? And how likely is the same brand and line to have the best product? I use shampoo and conditioner from different brands for the same reason you might use NARS eyeshadow base and blush, Chanel mascara and Urban Decay liner in a look post on Mac eyeshadow: those products just work better!

Haul: I just bought $74 of makeup from All Cosmetics Wholesale online. Four UD shadows, TheBalm Jealous Jordana (could not find the palette, so I bought the single), TF Galaxy Glam Magenta Moon, POP Eye Cake in Mocha Eyes, and POP Eye Dust in Bronze.
Weekend plans: write a short paper for American Literature, and attend a fancy dinner honoring my boyfriend’s dad (he’s a doctor).
Does your shampoo/conditioner match?: Most of the time, no. I have curlyish hair that is oily. It requires an anti-dandruff shampoo and a conditioner that is not too heavy. Funny thing is, I owned the Renpure Organics Body & Shine shampoo and the matching conditioner, but when I moved out, I somehow lost the conditioner. I think it fell out of my bag when I was on the train. 🙁 I guess the goddess of hair decided that I should not have matching shampoo and conditioner.
I would love to be Mellan’s valentine! But don’t tell my cat Jazz. He’s the jealous type. Shhhhh…

This week I have hauled MAC Golden Lariat, Tarte Liplusters in Peach and Light Pink, Nars Cactus Flower, and Nars Albatross!
I really look forward to seeing swatches of the NARS lipgloss, I’ve had to convince myself to not buy it several times because I don’t know what it looks like!

Haul: Earlier this week I majorly spoiled myself by getting a Clarisonic MIA, Urban Decay 24/7 Shadow pencil in Midnight Cowboy, & MAC Macroviolet Fluidline. Today I’m checking out the WW collection, but don’t think I’ll pick up too much from it.

Does your shampoo/conditioner match: Sometimes. I don’t really care either way.
Haul: I went overboard this week with MAC Wonder Woman, the collection I thought I wasn’t interested in. I got all the colored Opulashs, both blushes, and the Marquise ‘D lipstick (which I’m contemplating getting backups of if I can find it). I LOVE all of it, garish packaging and all.
Weekend plans: working on Saturday, visiting the in-laws on Sunday.
Shampoo/conditioner: They never match, I’m constantly switching brands around to find ones that well and don’t cost a fortune. I also find that by switching them up I get less buildup on my hair. I tend to have 2 or 3 bottles of each going at any given time.
Other: I’m completely sick of this weather and can’t wait for spring. I think my makeup haulage is getting more extreme because I’ve got such a bad case of cabin fever.
That is just too cute! Mellan looks like he should be a model like in print and/or the pet ads on tv.

That totally made me legit LOL bc I had the same reaction to solid shampoo at first. I literally sat there slack-jawed for 5 minutes trying to wrap my brain around it! lol

Weekend plans: Tonight I’m driving up to MD with my boy for a close friend’s birthday party. Saturday we’re attending the opening of an exhibition I designed the catalogue for (I’m a graphic designer). Sunday, I’m attempting to make Valentine’s Day dessert…and I can’t cook for crap! It should be interesting.
Does your shampoo/conditioner match: Nah. I tend to use more shampoo than conditioner, so I’m always running out of conditioner. Then I’ll just pick up whatever I see when I’m at the drugstore or wherever.
Also, I just want to share that after months of searching, I think I finally found my HG brow routine. I’ve got sparse, jet black brows and very oily skin, so I’ve had a HELL of a time figuring this out. But I think the final answer is MAC’s Brow Finisher to “prime”, Copperplate to fill in, Brun to darken any patchy areas, and Anastasia’s Tinted Brow Gel in Granite to add some texture back in. Mission accomplished…yay!!!
Returned my Make Up Forever 12 Color Flash Palette (creased like crazy, even with UDPP and setting with powder) and got two tokidoki Fantastico lip stains ($10 CAD on sale at Sephora, I love them so far!) and Too Faced’s Liquif-Eye eye shadow transformer.
Checked out the Wonder Woman collection at MAC yesterday. Because of Christine’s amazing reviews I already knew what I wanted to look at. Sadly nothing jumped out at me.
Weekend plans: Maybe yoga, hang out with friends
I try to buy shampoo and conditioner as a matching set but always use up the shampoo first. I like trying new products so I’ll end up buying a new shampoo of a different brand.

Does your shampoo/conditioner match: Usually. I tend to use the shampoo & conditioner that go together or are at least from the same brand.
Technically, I don’t have my haul just yet, but I did make an order off of Sephora.com last night for their mineral makeup that is on sale (I’ve wanted to try it for a while), and for the Sephora Color Play II set, and Japanese bath salts from Truerenu.com.
Whoops…does my shampoo and conditioner match? Right now, yes, amazingly! It usually does not.
Haul: I’ve been eyeballing the Urban Decay Fun palette, as well as the new Viva Glam Gaga lipstick!

Weekend Plans: A screening of the best films that was at the Ontario Internation Animation Festival @ my School
Does your Shampoo/Conditioner Match? Yes, sort of, they’re the same company. But I hardly use Conditioner because my shampoo is 2 in 1, and my hair is very healthy without conditioner, so I save time 😛

Does your shampoo/conditioner match: Nope. I tend to check makeupalley for reviews and then I go pick up the products that are rated the highest. If they match, then so be it, but if they don’t, I don’t really care.

Haul: Let’s see, after last week’s massive haul I swore I would stop, but nope! I got NARS Sheer Glow foundation w/ foundation brush (OMG to Christine and others on here who recommended it; I owe you all my firstborn! It is close to HG status for me, I think!, more of my Sephora Instant Moisturizer, brush cleaner, Sephora Vanilla cupcake dry body oil… oh and a ridiculously cute pair of Jessica Simpson aviator-type sunglasses! I am sooo looking forward to summer already!
Weekend plans: Up North snowmobiling and trying to work on this crazy paper for school! :/
Does your shampoo/conditioner match: Nope, I use Pantene Pro-V Shampoo and Ouidad leave-in conditioner because my hair is a thick, wavy, tangly mess (I’m a weird mix of ethnicities and it shows up in my weird hair texture and weird skin undertones lol)
Haul: MAC Peacocky just came out in Denmark the other day so I purchased 2 kissable lipcolours in En-Chantee and Flaunting it.

Haul: It was definitely a nail polish week for me! I got Ballet Slippers, Topless and Barefoot, and Damsel in a Dress by Essie. I also got a mini set of the Katy Perry by O.P.I polishes in the mail today which I have yet to open. So excited!

From INGLOT- gel liner in 77 (black) 86 (a dark teal) and 75 (eggplant), freedom system palette with eyeshadows in 463 (shimmer neutral), 428 (shimmer navy), 500 (shimmer grey), and 65 (a sparkly black) and their eyeliner brush.
weekend plans: well i just got in from vegas this morning, and ive been sleeping all day. but the boy and i are about to watch a movie. tomorrow im supposed to go to school, but we’ll see about that. tomorrow night im taking the boy to see a play performed by the actin group i was a part off, my baby cousins also in it, so we’re going to surprise her. sunday night we’re celebrating valintines day!
Shampoo/conditioner: eh, its a sometimes thing. right now im using Paul Mitchell awapuhi wild ginger shampoo and conditioner, if i know i want extra body in my hair for something, i’ll use the same shampoo but use the Paul Mitchell extra body treatment, and once a week i use a clarifying shampoo followed by Paul Mitchell instant moisture.
Mellan is so cute! i got my two fur babies (cats) doggy shirts while i was in vegas, the older one is still currently wearing his, the kitten was not having it! lol
