First, I’ll share mine!
Haul: Two Chanel nail polishes & two lipsticks… a couple of lipsticks and an eyeshadow from MAC.
Excited for: I wish I had something to be excited for, but it looks like a pretty school-filled, homework-doing kind of weekend for me!
I bought a bunch of Philosophy bath stuff on-line so I’m waiting to get a hold of that!
Otherwise I’ve been saving my pennies to hit the MAC counter and clothing stores next weekend when my best friend and I take next Friday off and go shopping in Auckland – with high tea at the 5 star Langham hotel.
Can’t wait!
Need a purple eyeliner so I’m hoping MAC can help me out – any suggestions?!
Designer Purple from the Art Supplies collection is beautiful!
Though designer purple is beautiful it’s really bright. If you want something more wearable Almost Noir from Art supplies is really good.

I’m pretty sure I got raspberry mousse and pink frosted layer cake, plus there’s a chocolate one of some description, vanilla birthday cake and cinnamon buns. And a raspberry lipgloss – I have the Kiss Me balm and I love that… We don’t have anywhere (that I know of) in NZ that stocks Philosophy so I’ve never even smelt them before but all the reviews on-line make them sound pretty scrummy!
I will check out Permaplum! Though Kristen and Emm are right, both purples from the Art Supplies collection are indeed gorgeous, I suspect it won’t be in stores here yet 🙁 Boo!
I do really want Designer Purple!!!
I was tempted by the Raspberry lipgloss, lol!
Philosophy is pretty good at nailing whatever scent it is — and it’s typically very true-to-life and very rarely smells synthetic/fake to me!
Haul: My first Rouge Coco (nr. 20)!
Weekend: Taking care of my 6 year old daughter who broke her arm last Tuesday…

I was very very bad this week… I got:
Two of those 9 piece LipFusion sets off of Hautelook (one for me & a friend- they always have such great deals)
A ton of suncreen for our cruise to the Caribbean next month (woo! gotta protect my super pale NW15 skin)
One of those Bliss travel kits for said cruise
Some more EcoTools brushes (the 6 pc eye kit and the bronzer brush)
And my biggest haul this week….. the Clarisonic PRO! I can’t wait to use it!!

Haul: No beauty hauls this week, but I am wearing ‘OPI shootout at the OK coral’ (that I bought a few months ago) for the first time and loving it. Getting tons of compliments too. Being NW20 I did not think I could pull of a coral colour, but this one has pink undertones, therefore it works!!!
Excited for: My sister and 2 nieces coming to visit from Tuesday for 3 and a half weeks! They live in Australia and I live in South Africa and it has been a year since I have last seen them.

Excited for: Going to Cork for the weekend. Myself, my sis and my mam are going a spa for a bit of pampering. Mam’s birthday next weekend. Possibly a bit of shopping thrown in there!

I got a whole bunch of things from urban decay. I’m going to try a couple of their De-slick products. And then I got some 24/7 liners. I love how they have such an amazing return policy. It makes me feel so much more comfortable buying plus the %30 off sale helped too! haha I can’t wait to try the items out.

Haul: Today arrived the Liberty of London Collection at my Counter. I was the first to taste the testers, then I haul Peachstock and Petals & Peacocks lipsticks andBough Grey eyeshadow
Excited: I found a original Fafi collection lipstick, a friend sent it to me last wednesday, I´m waiting for the postman, “hey hey hey wait a minute Mr. postman. Mr postman look at me, you got a letter in your bag for me”
Angry: I took 6 empty packagings to get a lipstick with B2M, but at my counter doesn´t accept them for collections lipsticks 🙁
I LOVE! when you’re the first to the testers!
I think B2M doesn’t apply to special packaging like Liberty of London – because it’s licensed or something to that effect!
Oh no! I was preparing 6 more for “to the beach” collection, I love special packaging lipsticks!. When my little girl broke my Big Bow lipstick (Hello Kitty collection) I cried… fortunately, i found a new one at Ebay
I think you should be able to do it with those — I just know that when MAC partners with someone else (e.g. Fafi, Heatherette, Liberty of London, Hello Kitty, etc.) that there are a ton more restrictions.
Sadly, this will be the first week in like two years with NO HAUL! LOL
I’m on a NO-BUY for the entire month of April (after Art Supplies broke the bank lol).
Doesn’t it figure that Sephora and UD have their F&F this week? UGH!

Petals and Peacocks lipstick and Blue India nail polish from Liberty of London – and I also picked up Goldenrod eyeshadow and a 188 brush. No real regrets but Petals and Peacocks isn’t quite as exciting as I first thought it was – I prefer it layered over Saint Germain!

I have been on my BEST BEHAVIOUR these last few weeks. However, today, I plan on grabbing MAC Creme Cup (with B2M), the Hey e/s if it’s @ my store, the prep &prime SPF 50, and quite possibly Nars Chelsea Girls if my bank account will allow. It’s my birthday this weekend! Why not, right?

The bottle of prep &prime was too small to justify the purchase for my needs, anyways. I would plan on using it daily. Nars Chelsea Girls had a really offending platic smell that reminded me of something from Kindergarten, so I skipped it. I feel really unfulfilled right now, lol. Good thing I have the rest of the work day to plan my postponed splurge.
Awwwww! At least you grabbed Hey, LOL! Hopefully you’ll find some new things to splurge on!
Haul:
– I bought one of the new nail lacquers from Catrcie (german brand), i bought the colour that is almost identical to Chanel Jade.
– A rimmel nail polish in black, because i ran out.
– Alot of hair products, mainly loreal.
– Some Bio-oil for my acne scars.
– A buffer sponge from the body shop, for everday exfoliating!
– Garnier clean detox cleansing gel, love it!
BTW: i did a big MAC haul last weekend:
– 2x studio fix fluid, one in NW15 and the other in NW25 (love mixing).
– 15x colour palette.
– Eyshadows in: Amber Lights, Phloof!, Sweet Lust, Jest, Bronze, Twinks, Brule, Retrospeck, Gleam, Satin Taupe, Texture, Romp, Vanilla, Shroom and Naked Lunch (also got a backup of all that glitters).
– Lip Pencils in Subculture and In Synch.
– Lipsticks in Viva Glam Cyndi, Viva GLam Gaga and Costa Chic
– Lipglass in Cultureclash.

– MSF natural in medium.

Do you, or anyone else, know if Bio-oil works for clearing acne scarring? I was about to purchase it the other day but I got some Vitamin E oil instead, but I haven’t used it long enough to see results.
I’m not sure! 🙁
vitamin E oil 70,0000 IU works really well at dissapearing the pigmentaion in acne scars . i got mine from the store called vitamin world in the mall. i use it on my arms and back.
I definitely took advantage of the Sephora and Urban Decay sales…so I got: Korres Mango Butter Lipstick in Natural Pink (13), Smashbox Lipstick in Splendid, Nars Lipstick in Barabella, Murad Acne Body wash, a free sample of Urban Decay’s Eden PP, Urban Decay 24/7 Liner in Eldorado, Urban Decay Eyeshadow in X, Urban Decay 24/7 set in Stereophonic, and UD lipstick in Naked. I know I got a lot of lipsticks but I have like 2, and I’ve been wanting more so I took this sale opportunity to explore. =)
So this weekend my life will be school, work, school, work, school, work…note that sleep is not in there. =( Nor is having fun of any kind…can’t wait till school ends! Less than a month away!

this week I got Neutrogena’s Healthy Skin Foundation that is supposed to be a dupe for NARS Sheer Glow. Never tried the NARS, but am liking the Neutrogena so far…
Also got a fake tan system…but will be returning it. The boyfriend says it looks yellow and I look like I have the plague when wearing it! 😀

I bought a mac greasepain stick in below ground; My beautiful, gorgeaous cat Honey was hit by a car a few days ago so that broke my heart but she was a beautiful white cat with golden eyes and hse used to roll on her back like a dog so I could rub her tummy.

I went to Sephora yesterday, and I got the Benefit “Get Bronzed” set (which has been sold out online since, basically, it came out!). It came with a Hoola bronzer, High Beam highlighter, Bad Gal mascara in brown, and a large, creamy gold pencil! I also got a Sephora Native Nude lipliner, a Jelly White eye pencil (very soft, pinky white- perfect for waterline!) and Dior Extase Mascara 🙂

YAY – I was absolutely good this week – I didn’t buy anything. I even have the money for purchases but my choice was to save up for next month for the Nordstrom Beauty event – I’m sure I’ll have a list of beauty hauls then!
I will take advantage of my Sephora coupon (bday gift for my cousin) and the UD 30% discount after my pay day on the 15th cuz I can never have too many colored 24/7 liners. Also the summer nail polish colors look very cute!

I’m excited to enjoy my last weekend before going back to student teaching. Also this past week was so pretty and sunny. I got to go the Getty and do school work with a boy I think is totally nerdy adorable. Yay for projects!

I got from Mac: Prim and proper blush, Blooming lovely lipstick, A different groove and Enlgish accents lipglasses, Undercurrent eyeliner. From Sue Devitt I got Solomon Islands eye and cheek palette and a Lip enhancing gloss. I also got a green eyeliner from GOSH, a lipcrayon from Barry M, Famous shimmer brick in medium bronze, Urban Decay 24/7 lipliner in Ozone, 24/7 eyeliner in Rockstar and finally got around to buying Naked lipstick. 🙂 They didn’t have one shade of the gloss I really wanted from Sue Devitt, but found it on QVC, so ordered it when I got home, but haven’t got it yet. However, the other thing i ordered from QVC a few days ago came, it’s a baked eyeshadow duo from Laura Geller. And I bought the new Asia exclusive Guerlain Meteorites pearls primer (white) on eBay, but haven’t got that yet either.
It was my birthday this week, so got spoilt rotten, and will go away for a few days with my husband and children soon, so that’s something to look forward to. 🙂

Probably some new MUFE colors.I just don’t know whether I prefer the color and texture of the loose pigments vs. the pressed eyeshadows. After using the MUFE mat+velvet foundation for months, I wanted to try the MUFE HD. So, this week i’ve gotten the MUFE HD foundation, Mac’s below ground greasepaint stick, spice lip liner and pearlglide liner in dirty. Love each one so far!
I’m moving at the end of the month and will be tossing out more clutter over the weekend. UGH!
Yay! MUFE HD is nice – I think I like it better than Mat+ Velvet myself!

oh i’m actually kind of embarrassed to say… it’s the kind of car i would buy on opposite day. it’s a chevy blazer! aaah! lol!
it was too good of a deal not to pass up (hopefully). it drives nice though – even if it’s raping the planet while it does so – and it’s smaller than i expected (which is good)! i’m mostly happy to be moving forward – i have been in a HORRIBLE mood lately, between my busted car and back pain that won’t go away, i’ve been picking a lot of fights and been wondering around the house all sad :/
on the brighter side though, it’s been nearly 10 years since i’ve owned a car with more than two seats… maybe i’ll re-enact some of my backseat high school antics this summer 🙂 hahaha!

I have a Mustang (which I hate–it’s cool for about 2 months, then you’re like, “WTF was I thinking?”), and oh man, I can’t wait until I get move up to a car with FOUR DOORS and at least four USEABLE seats, haha.

thanks! yes the pain was from the car accident, we were hit pretty hard (enough to cave in my car) by a HUGE truck hauling farm equipment… they didn’t even stop, they just kind of slammed into me (i was stopped for people crossing the road). so that sucked. and it continues to suck. like i said, it mostly puts me in a bad mood – i yell a lot, then i cry. lol.
any kind of four seats would be nice! which is part of the reason i’m excited for this 🙂 it’s been so long since i didn’t have to pile grocery bags on top of jay when we’d go shopping 🙂 haha!

Hahahaha! Oh my goodness, my boyfriend and I both have (essentially) two-person vehicles… SO ANNOYING if you EVER want to haul anything. It’s like trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. The only thing that fits in the backseat is the dog, LOL!
MAC-wise I only bought Paradisco e/s. And today I got an Inglot quad. Greens and green-ish ones, of course!
How are the Inglot eyeshadows?
They are very pigmented, creamy, but kind of sheer texture-wise, one especially (the other 3 are “pearls”). I’ll know better when I test them out properly.
Prep For Colour, Art Supplies and Give Me Liberty Of London just came out in the UK so I ordered some stuff online: Ever Hip lipstick, Birds & Berries eyeshadow, Almost Noir, Undercurrent and Blackline Pearlglide Liners, Greengrease Greasepaint Stick, and a couple of lipglasses. I also popped into the MAC store today and came out with Vex, Woodwinked and Gorgeous Gold eyeshadows!
Whew! Lots launching at once in the UK!
Hauled from Sephora FF a bunch of Dior stuff – a shadow quint and 2 of the new addict lip glosses. Will be ordering more next week to take advantage of the sale! Also bought a bunch of UD stuff from their FF sale – including the newest eye shadow quad!

I got Clinique’s Brandied Bronze eyeshadow palette, MAC’s Black Line eyeliner, and a MAC kit from Nordstrom that has Cheeky Bronze Mineralize Skinfinish and two travel size skin products.
How’s the Brandied Bronze palette?
It’s really pretty. I haven’t had a chance to play w/ it yet, but I do like Clinique eyeshadows. The only downside is that it’s a pretty small palette. I did expect that, though, because it’s the same price as a palette w/ fewer colors. I’m sure I’ll be able to do a lot of combos w/ the colors that are in this palette and it’ll be good for traveling.

This week I’ve purchased a bunch of stuff from Allcosmeticswholesale.com. and from Maccosmetics.com, I purchased Naked Lunch Lipglass (2 bec it’s discontinued), a Greasepaint stick in the green color, a beauty powder blush in some color I can’t even remember what is it (OMG!), a mineralized blush (duo) in something (OMG!) oh, the pink one, the three new eyeshadows that just came out yesterday and the tinted lipglass that came out yesterday too. See I’ve been doing way too much this week:-).
What I’m looking forward too receiving is my stuff from Allcosmeticwholesale (should get the second shipment TODAY! Yippie!!) because I’m finally getting Notable blush by MAC (I wanted that when it was out but it sold out). I’m also gettinga blush from the Style Warrior collection (the pink one) that I’m interested in trying and some Loreal HIP creme blushes that I’m looking foward to trying.
oh, this weekend is work (overtime), church on Sunday and playing with my three year old as usual. It’s suppose to rain out here in Northern Cal on Sunday so, probably do some creative stuff in the house like we do.

I’m excited to go to the beach again with my friends. I also get to have lunch with my dad on Sunday since my mom is in Ireland with her students! So sad, he can’t function without her, its actually very cute.
Aww, my dad always misses my mom when she goes away, too! He says how it’s so quiet and boring without her… and when she gets home, it’s like 60mph!

Monday was my birthday! So SO took me to the bigger mall so I could haul Shu Uemura at the Neiman Marcus. Sadly they didn’t have the two blushes I was looking to get but I got Shu Uemura Glow On Blush P Peach 45 and Shu Uemura Depsea Water in Chamomile. Then I went to the Nordstroms with a gift card from a friend and picked up Chanel Rouge Coco in Egerie. On Wednesday I made an order for the Sephora VIB sale as soon as I heard the code was activated. I got:
Shu Uemura Face Architect Smoothing Foundation 764 and Urban Decay’s Stereophonic Set. Last night I invited a friend to go to the VIB + a friend kick off event. I only bought two birthday gifts for friends since I’m still waiting for a gift card in the mail, but she got me the tokidoki kabuki brush! I’ve also received 4 birthday packages this week including Kiss Me Heroine Long & Curl and Volume & Curl mascara, Zoya Hope nail polish, love + toast sugar grapefruit hand lotion, Korres Vanilla Cinnamon body milk, tokidoki Sandy mints, Dr. Brandt Pores No More Primer, and my first YSL – YSL Duo Eyeshadow #23! And to top it off I finally got my Rock & Republic blush in Immoral from Editor’s Closet and Shu Uemura Glow On blushes P Amber 83 and M Peach 44 from a somewhat draw out swap.
WOW. That’s a lot when I write it all out LOL. I’m thinking of doing a little more hauling with my gift card though and I’m still expecting a few packages from people who’ve told me they’re sending me something haha. Thinking about getting a bronzer since I don’t really have a bronzer I love yet (tokidoki perhaps?) and I had wanted to stock up on sunscreen but it looks like my HG has been discontinued and is OOS… =/
My weekend is probably going to be quite boring! Just catching up on homework and reading for me.
Gift cards make hauling so much more guilt-free, don’t they? 🙂

I also got some stuff this week: MAC Lust lipglass, which was the cloest dupe for Givenchy Rose Taboo lipgloss (which was sold out). I also got a pair of Current/Elliot boyfriend jeans to lounge in on the weekends 🙂
I adopted a rescue kitty a few weeks ago and he started tearing up the house with his claws, so my mom said we had to de-claw him or take him back to the SPCA (where he would most likely get put down because he is an older cat) so even though I know it is cruel, I let her de-claw him. He will be an indoor only cat, and we have a large house and another adopted kitty who already came delcawed to play with. He is healing fine, but I still feel a tinge of guilt everytime I see him licking his hurting paws 🙁 I just couldn’t take him back to the pound 🙁
Just to clarify, my mom didn’t de-claw him herself, we took him to our vet!

I went to sephora and picked up the YSL faux cils mascara…I’ve heard good and bad things but so far I love it…I’ve heard it dries up rather quickly but the girl at sephora told me that if it happened I could return it and get something else …so I’m trying it and I love it!!!

I hit the FandF sale at UD, I got a back up of Sin UDPP, liquid liner in ecstasy, all nighter setting spray, and the duo set(liner in covet and a glitter liner to match). I also took advantage of my VIB offer at Sephora and picked up the Nars cofferet (my very first Nars product, im so excited) and one of the TokiDoki lip glosses.
Im excited to actually recieve all my new goodies!

This week I hauled MAC Freckletone and three Revlon Lip Glosses – I totally love these because they aren’t sticky and don’t have a strong smell. I got the peach, nude and bring pink ones – the colour range isn’t great but at least I can now cycle to work without getting my hair stuck to my lips!
This weekend I will be mostly writing an end of course assignment which is due in 13 days time (and counting!) but hopefully I’ll find some time to get out into the lovely spring weather we’re having

I purchased two Burberry scents – The Beat and Sheer. Love them both. I really really want Summer as well. Today I bought a great pair of square hoops that are delicate and big at the same time and a great leather studded cuff.

i picked up the dirty greasepaint stick, black line pearl glide liner and copperplate shadow. i wore all three together yesterday in a quick and dirty smokey eye…
i’ve been lemming copperplate for almost a year but mac keeps releasing so many LE collections that end up taking the limelight!… i think i’ll probably be wearing it in a look every day this week!…lol
