Fenty Beauty Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Bronzer Swatches

Fenty Beauty Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Bronzer ($32.00 for 0.22 oz.) is a new, permanent cream formula that can be used as bronzer and contour (Amber and Toffee Tease are called out as contours in particular). There are seven shades in the range, and they are intended to have “sheer, buildable” coverage with a “natural-looking” finish that is “sweat- and water-resistant.”

I really like the range of depth and undertones. Look forward to your review!
Ooh, i spy a cool one. Better drag out some cream cheek, to see if my skin still neutralizes it to zero. But i actually could see getting a lot of use out of Amber.
LOVE Macchiato! Could be true light for me, I don’t know? Then again, being on lockdown I haven’t had my usual yearly darkening that my skin goes through, so it might just work.
If not, then *possibly* Teddy.
I was actually on the lookout for some brand to release sweat-resistant cream bronzers without volatile silicones or fragrance that I can travel with. This fits the bill but I probably won’t be doing a lot of traveling this year. Sigh…
In any case, the shades look great and I have my eye on butta biscuit and macchiato.
I actually took a closer look at each applied on Christine and I’m curious whether these were applied with brushes or fingers bc I have to say, these seem a lot lighter and buildable than I initially thought and actually seems to be aimed toward more fairer skin tones. Is it just bc of the sheen and the way it looks shot on camera? Bc otherwise, the shade range would be shocking to me from fenty. I’m looking forward to the reviews and seeing these in person.
Oh, wow, I’m really in to Amber, Butta Biscuit, and maybe even Macchiato.
These have a nice variety of undertones. Amber would make a good contour shade.
Amber looks like it would be a great contour shade for me!
Not just me finding Amber interesting, I see.
I am super into Amber, but I wonder how close it is to Illamasqua Hollow? I just replaced that not too long ago.
Amber doesn’t look at all like amber haha. But it reminds me of the Kevyn Aucoin contour cream which I already own and don’t use… so this will be a pass for me 🙂
None of these shades really speak to me as a bronzer for my skin, but Amber in the pan reminds me of Illamasqua Zygomatic, a cream blush which I use as a light contouring shade sometimes. From your swatch Amber is solidly cool and grey toned, on me Zygomatic is a more neutral pinky brown. The powder contour Sephora Tranquil looks a lot like your Amber swatch. I use that for contouring too.
