I agree with the Mac Alluring Aquatics for the packaging. Hey Sailor in terms of packaging was a miss for me. I also found that Mythical is a minor dupe of Guerlain’s Gracia. I wanted to say Guerlain was awesome having 2 summer collections with great bronzers, but I wasn’t able to pick them up. The Joli Teint and Maxi Lash waterproof were the only 2 I picked up from them.

NARS summer 2011. Dogon, Cap Ferrat, and Carthage in particular. However I really liked the packaging for Mac To The Beach even though I only got a couple of things from that collection.

Ditto with Alluring Aquatic! I stumbled upon it on Thursday morning – apparently it was only launched in Japan that day – and managed to snag some lovely pieces.

Same here – MAC’s Alluring Aquatic, though to be honest, a lot of the colours didn’t really say “summer” to me and there was nothing in the face products for “this” face for summer! But how I love what I got and regret not having got more of the eye shadows.

I agree with you on MAC’s Alluring Aquatic. I got the Clear Water Lipglass and it is soooo pretty! I’m still waiting for Nordstrom online to ship me the Silver Sun eyeshadow that’s status is “delayed”. Please tell me that it will show up at my doorstep. I’m starting to get anxious.

Alluring Aquatic, even if I don’t normally go for MAC at all.. too bad I’ve been so broke lately, I couldn’t even get myself a piece from it 🙁

I’ve really gotten a lot of use out of my Tom Ford Unabashed palette which is essentially a collection in a compact. I also love my selections from the Clé de Peau spring/summer La Bohème collection.

My favorite summer collection is the 2013 L’Ete Papillon de Chanel. MAC’s All About Orange, To the Beach, and Playland are close contenders color story wise.

Alluring Aquatic and Surf Baby are amazing in terms of packaging.

It’s funny, I was going to say Alluring Aquatic because I loved the packaging and I like quite a lot of individual pieces, but I don’t use any of them on a daily basis (like I do with the Playland pencils), and I didn’t love any of them on first sight (the way I just immediately knew I had to have the nude quad from the Pedro Lourenco collection). So I guess Playland and Pedro Lourenco are my favourites, and I have more things I simply love from the Pedro Lourenco collection (when I first saw swatches of the nude quad and the red-orange lipstick, my jaw just dropped).

Alluring Aquatics because I LOVE the packaging (my favorite color) but I only purchased 3 items because the textures of the products were to shimmery/frosty for my taste.
I also like the packaging & colors of the Pedro Lourenco collection.

In my opinion, Marc Jacobs’ eyeshadow palette The Siren was the most interesting palette for summer that came out in the last few years. The colors are stunning and the quality is excellent. In particular I love the fact that it has both fire and water tones that are perfect for summer, but are almost never available in the same palette.
For skin products I think Guerlain’s Terracotta collection wins the first place since it gives the most glowing sun kissed look to the skin.

MAC Sharon Osbourne collection. The eyeshadow quad, the highlighter in the skinfinish duo and the lip crayon in the caramel color are all perfect for my complexion. Its been very hard to find colors that flatter me in these limited edition collections, but I just ordered a second lip crayon when they were released yesterday and I am contemplating buying doubles on the quad and skinfinish duo. I love the colors but by the time I get near finishing them, I’m sure there will be new things I want to try!
