Fall 2020 Swatches: Melt Cosmetics Blush Duos (x3), Too Faced Pumpkin Spice Palette, Giorgio Armani Lip Maestros (x2)

Fall 2020 Swatches: Melt Cosmetics Blush Duos (x3), Too Faced Pumpkin Spice Palette, Giorgio Armani Lip Maestros (x2)

Melt Cosmetics Digital Dust Blush Duos ($38.00 for 0.24 oz.) just released, though Sephora had them up briefly for sale a few days ago (so I snagged them!), which is why I have them already… There are three duos and each has a darker and lighter shade of shimmery blush. The formula should be comparable (and certainly looked and felt that way) to the brand’s Digital Dust Highlighters that I’ve reviewed in the past. It’s that gel-powder formula that is denser but smoother, more buildable in luminosity and best with a more moderate brush/hand.

Too Faced Pumpkin Spice Palette ($49.00 for 0.43 oz.) is a new, limited edition 18-pan palette featuring six shimmer shades and 12 matte shades, which made it a more matte-leaning palette. As a heads up, it is supposed to be “pumpkin pie” scented, though it was more sweet vanilla to me with the faintest hint of spice if I had my nose up to the pans.

Finally, I have two more new shades of Giorgio Armani Lip Maestro ($38.00 for 0.22 oz.) to share with you; these just came in stock for purchase, so duh, I bought them and here are swatches for you!

I’m struck by how much I actually like the Pumpkin Spice palette! It really looks more like four well-edited quads (purple, berry, green, orange) with some bonus shades rather than a single cohesive palette, but I dig it. The swatches look nice, too–hoping for good grades, because this might be the first-ever Too Faced palette I pick up.

Same here! I rolled my eyes when I saw “pumpkin spice” from Too Faced again, but the palette looks promising – I can see a lot of different eye looks coming out of it, hope is tests well.

Same! I don’t have any Too Faced palettes (heck, I don’t have many Too Faced products at all), but I’m thinking this could be the one.

Surprising, The palette looks promising! After the disappointment with the sweet peach I though that I wouldn’t fooled again by a too faced palette. But this seems to have quite a good pigmentation than other brand’s palette. I’m curious to see the final rating. By the way I am not really interested in it. Yes it seem promising, yes it is very cute and has an interesting colour story, but I have dupes for every single shades. Maybe I will check tutorial created with palette for inspiration to use my stash

Raw Honey is beyond gorgeous and I love the embossing. The palette swatches surprisingly well comparing to recent Too Faced releases so I’m tempted but I probably have dupes for most if not all of the shades.

Christine, your post always makes my day interesting. But today it’s extra exciting with so many beautiful products especially from clionadh. I would love to buy them. Thank you and wish you a blessed weekend

I’m so tempted by Melt’s Queen Bee blush duo. I think it may be a little too dark for as a highlighter though. Raw Honey is cute but I have several of those pinky mauve color blushes and highlighters. The swatches of TF Pumpkin Spice palette look good. I’m kinda burned out on eye shadows since I have way too many. And I’m trying to stick to non-transfer lip colors when wearing my masks.

Raw Honey is definitely calling my name – it just looks perfect for fall. I like a glowy blush all year round, not just for summer and I think the colour will be just right with fall eye looks.

Melt always sucks me in with their gorgeous packaging and luckily I like the highlighter formula so two of those blushes will come home to me eventually.

Clown admission: I have all three Melt Royal Blush duos. They’re incredible in person, and I have no regrets about buying all three. My favorite one is Buzz Kill, which is the coral/champagne duo.
