Estee Lauder Spring 2012 Collection: Topaz

Estee Lauder Spring 2012 Collection: Topaz

“My inspiration behind the collection was vacationing in Arizona, enjoying the warm sun, the amazing desert colors and the shadows that play on the sand and rocks. I was thinking of a gorgeously healthy-looking woman that had an element of fantasy in her personality. I wanted to convey that with a palette of strong yet soft colors.” — Tom Pecheux, Creative Makeup Director, Estée Lauder

This should be a good chance for people who missed the illuminating powder from last year’s collection to get one. I wonder how different it will be? This one looks more like a super shimmery bronzer.

I really like the eyeshadow palette! Totally my colours! I’d love to try the gelee, but the colour isn’t for me. Wish I had picked it up the first time around.

This looks gorgeous, but you know what? I just don’t need a single other brown/bronze/gold thing in my collection. It feels like that’s all we’ve been doing since Naked came out, LOL. Soft bright colors are grabbing me – non-neon limes, peaches, soft pinks, soft lilacs. I’m holding out in hopes somebody will go that direction this spring.

I was SO excited when I saw the highlight/bronze powder thing!!! I actually included the info on this collection in a video that I was JUST about to shoot last week when I lost my voice :/ LOL

I can squeek a little right now… Maybe that would convey the proper level of excitement?

I adore the Estee Lauder Illuminating Powder Gelee ‘Modern Mercury 1′ so much that I’ve already pre-ordered
the Pure Color Illuminating Powder Gelee,’ Topaz Chameleon’ shown here. Thanks for the heads-up Christine because the Modern Mercury sold out quickly!

Estee Lauder is impressing the hell out of me lately. Love Contance make up here. She looks stunning. The products looks solid and I’ll be seriously shocked if the quality would be lacking. The lipstick in promo will be mine. Very nicely done, EL!

I missed out on the modern mercury illuminator, so I went ahead and ordered this one online without thinking twice, I have to say that I hate it! It’s way too orangey. Mind you, I’m an NC40, I thought possibly if all else fails, I could atleast use it as an eyeshadow, but I don’t dig the orange tint..now I’m stuck. 😐
