Estee Lauder Cyber Silver Pure Color Gelee Powder Eyeshadow ($24.00 for 0.03 oz.) is a dark silver-shimmered gray. It looks a bit darker, less silver (and certainly less metallic) when applied dry compared to when it is applied wet, where the metallic sheen and therefore silver nature of the hue comes through much more. Either way, though, the color payoff is tops. The shade reminded me of Dior Smoking Blue, but this is more metallic. It’s a little lighter compared to Bobbi Brown Silver and Urban Decay S&M.
Of the three I tried, I thought Cyber Silver had the most depth, and it applied really smoothly both wet and dry. It wears for around six hours without a base when applied dry but reaches eight hours when applied dry; there were no wear issues if used with an eyeshadow base. The texture feels almost like a baked eyeshadow but with a much smoother feel and the product holds together infinitely better.

What’s the down side? I love it, but why A- and not A/A+?
Love this color, I already own it and I want some more colors
I’m always intrigued by silvers, even though I hardly wear them. 🙂
That’s a very pretty silver! It almost looks like tinfoil, in a good way of course.
I sooo want this!
Do metallic silvers work well on yellow skin tones? I find it difficult to work with more vibrant eyeshadows sometimes cos they tend highlight my yellowish undertones in a rather unflattering (imo) way. Do you have eyeshadow recommendations for my skin tone?
They can! 🙂
I would love to see you do a look with this eyeshadow, Christine! 😀
