Estee Lauder Blackened Olive Pure Color Intense Kajal Eyeliner
Estee Lauder Blackened Olive Pure Color Intense Kajal Eyeliner ($20.00 for 0.04 oz.) is murky olive-brown with a sooty, blackened appearance. I think it will be nice paired with hazel or green eyes, because it will look warmer and more green that way. MAC Buried Treasure is the closest dupe I could think of, but it’s not as opaque and has a whole lot of shimmer in comparison.
Estee Lauder’s new eyeliner formula is supposed to be long-wearing, richly pigmented, creamy, and wearable on the inner rim of the eyes. Blackened Olive is extremely creamy in consistency; it glides on effortlessly, depositing good color coverage in a single pass. It’s not quite as pigmented or as creamy as Electric Teal, but it comes close. The wear is good on the waterline but better on the lower lash line for me; it wears between four and six hours on the waterline, depending on if have watery eyes during the day, but on the lower lash line, it makes it almost to ten hours without any fading or smudging.
