elf O Face Satin Lipstick Swatches

elf O Face Satin Lipstick is a new satin-finish lipstick available in 10 shades. I ordered all 10 but received nine shades (and a double of one of those), so I only have swatches of nine. I will try to get that 10th one next time I place an elf or Ulta order, though 🙂 While they may look similar to NARS’ Audacious Lipsticks by the packaging and imprint (and even the callback to NARS with the formula name), they don’t feel like them at all as the elf Satin Lipstick is thinner and less creamy with a truer satin finish (none of these are cons just differences!).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

I’m not sure how I feel about elf products costing what they do. 9 bucks for a lipstick, 14 for a highlighter? Maybe they’re trying to rebrand to be “higher” bracket, a la NYX, but the quality never feels there. Makeup overall is getting way too expensive imo.
