Do you prefer loose or pressed setting (or finishing) powder?
Loose for sure! I find that it gives me a more even application of powder overall.

Loose! Pressed compacts are more portable, but I seem to fail on application and prefer the ease and control of pot powder over pressed.
My favorite powder is Laura Mercier Transucent Loose powder, but I also love MAC Blot Powder, which is pressed, so it’s 50/50 for me.
I like both pretty much equally. Pressed is much more practical for travel but for me, it basically comes down to the quality and finished results of the product.
Pressed powder all the way! I find loose powder very bulky in packaging, messy to apply (powder gets everywhere) and not that efficient in setting my makeup.
Definitely loose for setting, especially for the undereye and nose areas! However, for finishing powders, I prefer the baked geleé glow without any shimmer that Hourglass Dim Light Ambient Lighting Powder provides.
For personal use I do pressed because its just fast and easy. When doing someone else’s makeup I go with loose.
Loose at home; pressed for my bag for touchups.
I prefer a pressed setting powder finish myself. I find it easier to manage and use.
Loose 100%, I don’t even own a set powder. Easy to control and I find I don’t need to apply any more powder during the day
