Do you apply makeup to your body?

If I’m being thorough and/or the match is more off, I’ll bring foundation down my neck and to my chest (whatever is exposed by the cut of the neckline I have on!), but otherwise, it’s super rare.

No way. I will, from time to time (mostly in summer since that’s when I don’t have a scarf or shawl thrown around my neck) brush a bit of powder bronzer on my neck very lightly to sort of match it (it’s very white) to my face (which is pretty pale too but not as pale as my neck) and under my aging chin-line, but that’s about it.

No, I do not wear base like body makeup. I do carry my foundation down my neck and into whatever top I am wearing. If it is liquid foundation, I will usually mix with moisturizer. If powder, I sweep the colour in areas to get the gist of it and make it uniform looking. If my breastbone and face look cohesive, I am good to go.

Sometimes on a special occasion, I will brush highlighter across my collar bones and decolletage, but that is it.

Because it seems pretty darn difficult to find foundation with just the perfect undertones for my skintone, I usually do have to blend it very lightly down my neck. Especially for my winter shade, as it is less neutral in tone, more peachy than me. My current summer foundation is a little bit too light, but has perfect undertones, so I don’t bother bringing it down my neck. Looks a little stark, but easily fixed once I add bronzer and finishing powder.

When I was working in Corporate America, I wore makeup on my legs because I didn’t think anyone should have to look at old beat-up looking skin and I certainly was not going to wear panty hose. Self tanner did not have enough coverage. I have never worn makeup on other parts of my body other than taking foundation down my neck if needed.

Except for swatches on my hands in store, no. I barely drag foundation down my neck. Something about using make-up on my body always seemed odd and useless. I can totally see the point for fashion shows, entertaining arts, photography, people dressing up for Halloween, etc., but it’s not for me.

I will sometimes use concealer to cover spots on my arms if I’ve scratched a mosquito bite or something, and I often blend my foundation into my neck a bit.

I usually fade my foundation down onto my jawline, and sometimes onto my neck. If a large bump (zit, bug bite, etc.) shows up on my arm, or on my chest if I’m wearing a low-cut top, I’ll cover the bump with concealer, and usually add a little bit of foundation to better match the foundation on my face.

Never have.
I have body shimmers I use on arms, legs and decolletage, and tan enhancers (one spray-on with good coverage) which, I use primarily on my legs.
I’m terrified of getting foundation on clothing and that would happen if I took my makeup further down than mid-neck.

If I’m not wearing fake tan on my body I’ll bring bronzer down on my neck. My body is really pale, but the rosacea on my face makes it appear three shades darker and foundations (silicone-free and sit well on my dry skin) pale enough to match my neck don’t seem to exist at the moment. Or aren’t accesible to me. Otherwise I feel like a party clown.

I’m tempted to try that chest contouring trick I’ve seen on YouTube just for giggles. Or maybe dust some highlighter on my decolletage for that one night a year hubby and I get fancy and go out, lol. Beyond that, not really.
