($26.50 for 0.21 oz.) is a a sheer silvered-gray hued gloss with silver, white, and fuchsia micro-shimmer. It seemed quite reminiscent of Chanel Aragonite, but when worn, they look quite different–Dior has a much finer shimmer with a milkier pale base that gives lips a paler, whiter look, while Chanel’s shimmer seems to catch more light. From afar, they look similar when worn.
The strength of Ultra Gloss lies in its formula–I really think it’s the feel and look of the product that makes this gloss worth checking out. It is a moisturizing lipgloss with a very smooth, slick feel–it’s very comfortable to wear–with a shimmering sparkle that’s noticeable without being overwhelming. It’s completely non-sticky and has no scent or taste. All these characteristics leads me to think that a lot of lipgloss fans will enjoy them. I did find that these only lasted just under two hours on me, and then all that remained was the shimmer/micro glitter, and I’d say this was the major downside of this gloss.

FINAL THOUGHTS: The formula is slick and comfortable to wear without being drying, though it only lasts a couple of hours. This shade is on the sheerer side, but I’m sure that’s for the better, given it is also a silvery gray. It should suit all skin tones, both from the lack of traditional color and sheerness. It can also be used to layer over vampy shades for more depth.

Not a ton of color but it makes your teeth look really white!
I would never buy it, but it looks so pretty.
And just enough glitz to make me happy.

Chanel Aragonite & Dior Trianon Silver (707) Ultra Gloss are absolutely different.
No, really? How can they? The Dior is grey in the tube, and the Chanel is transparent with coloured glitter. But I have not seen the Dior in person and I was really curious on how a “grey” gloss would work.
I mean Chanel Aragonite is not a dupe of Dior Trianon Silver (707) Ultra Gloss as Christine wrote.
They look very, very similar on me, so that is why I listed it. I can only go base on my experience 🙂

This would be right up my alley but the swatches are disappointing! I do love that gloss formula though.
You’re a life saver Christine. I’ve been searching all over for a review of this color. Sephora’s description makes it sound like a clear gloss with silver glitter. It looks like it would probably have the same effect on my lips as Best of Breed (which I have too many backups of) so I won’t be picking this up but it sure is pretty.
Not huge on the shade, but Dior lip products always impress me with their texture.
Do you think this would lighten up a too-dark lipstick when worn over top, or is it too sheer? I’ve been looking for a gloss to just lighten up a few of my lipsticks. Thanks!

I’m not really fond of this colour… Though I liked the pink one! I have a gift card left I got with Christmas, so this’ll go on my list of things to be considered ^^ Diffictult decision, so many lovely things coming out!
The silver lip gloss looks AMAZING over darker lip sticks. My local mua tried it over a red plum lip stick and it was gorgeous, my lips looked really plump!
