haha.. I have both EL Defiant Coral and Dior Sunset…and they do look almost identical on your lips. When you hold them together, they are different or at least this is my excuse. 😀
Haha! The formulas/finishes are a bit different. I mean, I willingly own both… bought both, can’t say there wasn’t a part of me that wanted them, point blank, not just for the blog 😉

I had EL Defiant Coral but it was broken out of the tube when I got it and I just sent it back for a refund. Now seeing this I’m wishing I’d have asked for a replacement instead! Gorgeous color.

None of those dupes seems to have that beautiful gold shimmer that I see in the Dior one. I got no other choice but to buy it 🙂
Guerlain’s is probably the closest, but it isn’t as noticeable!
My mind knows that these are all dupes. Wonderful, perfect dupes. And yet, somehow… I still want them all. Dammit!

This is THE lipstick shade that I wish I could pull off. I love it so much on others, but unfortunately it doesn’t work for me. I love all the dupes, but Sunset is definitely my favorite. The golden sheen gives it that extra oomph. Gorgeous!

Wow! What a closely dupe able shade! I don’t mean that as a bad thing either, so long as you get the right colour in a formula you’re happy with, for the right price, I don’t really think it matters what was LE or who came out with it first 🙂
I really want to try Bite or the New EL lipsticks soon 🙂 I’ve seen the latter at counters, so I just have to save my pennies and select a favourite…
Surprisingly, yes! The finishes differ slightly, so it’ll depend on what one is after 😉
I was lucky enough to swoop up Sunset, but the Guerlain one looks like a real dupe!

The EL, Guerlain, and Bite are almost identical on you! The EL and Guerlain look the closest in color and finish!
Yeah, I think I’d say Guerlain is the closest (because it has an almost shimmery and glossy finish).
But will the dupes look similar on lips of a different shade? I’m amazed by the similarity in these! We’ve been duped. 😉
Theoretically, they should look about the same as however Dior Sunset would appear as they’re more opaque formulas, so they’ll hide most pigmentation the lip color has, but if your lips pull it a certain way, I would expect it would repeat that way with each shade as well.

I’m glad to see dupe swatches here because another Dior lemming on my wishlist is going to be super duper expensive! I like MAC’s Lady At Play so I think I’m going to give that a go!
