Dior Minaudiere Collection for Holiday 2010
Dior Minaudiere Collection for Holiday 2010
“Black is the most elegant and surprising color,” Christian Dior said. Mixed with gold, it brings life to the most outrageous creations. From yellow gold to bronze gold and silver black, the new Christmas trend displays a range of dramatic shades to create a universe where gold becomes light, and black becomes sparkle. Prestige and radiance are the key words of the holiday makeup collection, a grandiose look featuring transcendent eyes, a luminous complexion and shimmering lips.

In the picture it looks like there might be a door to close and keep the lipstick/glasses from drying out. Is that true? That would be great
I haven’t seen this in person, so I don’t know, sorry!
Yes, there’s a little door that covers the lip glosses on the right, based on other photos I’ve seen online.
Elle magazine has a photo of this palette with the door closed as well. It’s gold like the palette metal.
That palette looks like something I could buy from walmart, I never would have guessed it was Dior!
Uhm, I certainly haven’t seen anything like it at my local WalMart. The packaging alone is gorgeous — like a little Dior signature clutch — and if the shadows are anything like the Dior quints I have (Night Butterfly and Twilight), the pigmentation, texture and blendability will be markedly superior than any drugstore brand I’ve ever tried. Can’t speak for the lip glosses though, as I’ve never tried any of the brand’s palette glosses.
I really want the Pink Minaudiere palette and the new quints. Hope they get to the UK by the end of Octiber because Boots are doing their Christmas shopping eve and giving 1200 points if you spend £50 (which is basically £12 off, that’s a massive 24%). I also have nearly £30 worth points on my Boots advantage card and £20 worth on my Debenhams beauty club card, so can’t wait to spend them on Dior, Chanel and Guerlain goodies! 🙂
It bugs me that there are Sephora exclusives and Except Sephora. I’m not going to 2 places to buy one brand.
i had one of the palette on preoprder at nordstrom, but ran into some money trouble and had to give it up 🙁
Hi Chrisine, the photo of the minaudiere, is it the pink gold collection? Do you know if the mini brush set will be available at Sephora? Thanks.
I’m not sure 🙁
The case is beautiful and the colours are nice. I don’t care for the embossing on the eyeshadows though.
I’m liking the case/packaging!
I know it’s probably just me but the houndstooth style pattern pressed into the eyeshadow reminds me of Space Invaders sprites instead. >_<
It is the pattern on their Miss Cherie perfume
This looks lovely, but I’m not sure if I’d splash out!
Price of 80$ dollars is quite scary. Regular quints from Dior cost 80$ in my country. I suppose that Minaudiere will be about 110 -120$.
The packaging is gorgeous….
i just purchased it from sephora.com…i’ll let you guys know in few days! i’ve heard the 2 of the eyeshadows are nicely pigmented, smooth, much like the dior eyeshadows but the lightest 1 /and as well as the light lipgloss/ has no pigmentation but shimmers?! not sure how i feel about that..
one of the most expensive of course that is guerlain
