These will make perfect gifts for girlfriends / sisters etc!
I haven’t tried any DL polishes, but I’ve heard good things. The Dressed to the Nines set doesn’t have one color that I wouldn’t use. My poor family, my Christmas list just gets longer by the day.
What a cute set for a BBF.
Looks like sets that would get a lot of use. I have a fe DL polishes, one I don’t like, but I got it in a box, it’s not acolour I’d pick. My chartreuse nailpolish from DL is a favourite.
A few*
My eye is on the treat me right set
I’m actually wearing a DL polish today that’s really gorgeous. It’s called Across the Universe & is a dark blackened-blue with turquoise/green/blue chunks of glitter & tiny sparkles. I think I got it last year. Very vivid shimmer within the blackened-blue base, especially with Ellagee’s topcoat called Glass – way better than Seche Vite or any other topcoat I’ve tried, incidentally & only $12.
The DL polish I’m wearing today is really nice, but I haven’t found all the DL glitter polishes great across the board, unfortunately. Was hoping the brand would release several more really nice glitter polishes in various shades for the holidays. Bummer 🙁
I’m such a nail polish junkie. I just ordered two DL polishes to try them out and already the dressed to the nines set is calling to me.
Ugh, how I wish that Dressed To The Nines had more innovative, interesting colors instead of shades I already have up the wazoo! I mean, yes, this would probably make a great gift for giving, but not something I would buy for myself, though.
(Disclaimer: This person (me) wears some ridiculously cray-cray nail polish colors! )
My Mom loves Deborah Lippmann polish so the Dress To The Nines and the Treat Me Right sets will be her stocking stuffer gift. I just wish the colors were more provocative.
Does anyone think that the brush in DL nail polishes aren’t the best? I love her colors, but not the brush. I continually get little pieces of who knows what come off the brush and stick to the polish. I feel that for $20 a bottle, this polish should have an excellent brush. My favorite nail polish brush is Christian Dior. Any thoughts?
