Cult Nails Captivated Nail Lacquer Review, Photos, Swatches
Cult Nails Captivated Nail Lacquer
Cult Nails Captivated Nail Laquer ($10.00 for 0.5 fl. oz.) is described as a “coral jelly polish packed with intense gold and coral glitter.” Â It’s a pink-coral jelly base with molten gold and coral glitter that spreads really evenly and easily over the nail. Â It’s best to wait for each coat to dry so that you don’t disturb the existing glitter. Â I used three coats for a more opaque look, but it has a nice translucence when done with two coats–it’s truer to the squishy, jelly finish with two coats. Â The formula is very thick; it reminded me of the consistency of hair gel, actually.
Captivated is a limited edition shade, and I know that Maria (creator and founder of Cult Nails) let me know that quantities were dwindling when she sent these for review. Â I wore Captivated for a week without chipping, and removal is on par with other glitter polishes–it’s best to let your remover soak on the nail for a little bit and then removing. Â I just use felt soaked in Zoya Remove+ and press it against the nail for 5-10 seconds, and then I do one pull.

Perfect in Christmas holidays!
OMG that nailpolish is just wonderful! <3
I’m not usually into glitter nail polishes but I really like this, even though it’s bright and glittery, it doesn’t seem over the top to me.
So perfect for summer!!
Christine, this is a fabulous color! It looks really happy, if you know what I mean.
Also enjoying the Inglot series.
Have a nice weekend.
Sooo pretty. I love this.
I am so in love with this polish. I bought 2 bottles! 🙂
i usually am into only blacks, nudes, mints and lilacs on my nails……this is the only bright, over-the-top nail polish that i LOOOOOOOOVVVVVEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I like it but it looks like a cherry red instead of coral red.
I want this so badly. It’s gorgeous.
The corals & pinks are calling my name. Just got a manicure yesterday but chickened out at the last minute & went with a purple shade.
Where can you get this?
I got this about a month ago. It’s really unique and beautiful! Also got Living Water, from the same brand. I was impressed!
After declaring just yesterday that I need to go on a nailpolish no buy for a long time, after seeing this gorgeous polish, scrap that no buy! This is a must have! Beautiful!!!
I too bought this polish and while I can’t wear glitter polishes to work on my finger nails, I can on my toes-and it’s gorgeous. It’s lasting well over a week now!
I love these polishes!! I got four of them during the memorial day sale. This is definitely coral in person, and it’s awesome. Iconic is also fabulous, I have it on my toes!
Amazing shade! Different than any glitter polish I have – but oh such a love/hate relationship with glitter polish I do have. My eye goes right to the glitter polishes on any display! I have fun wearing them – but sometimes think – oops a bit too teeny bobber look for me. I rarely will keep a glitter polish on for more than a couple days for that reason. I get caught with somewhere to go that unless it’s winter & am not showing my toes in public…I still polish them year round however – just for me!
Oh my GOD, it’s beauuutiful. It reminds me of something I can’t put my finger on, too.
I really like this for toes, and really do love it. Depending on the length of your nails though I think it could end up looking a tad on the garish side.
It’s not my cup of tea but I still have to admit that it’s one gorgeous colour!
Sooo pretty!
Love this!
OK! So where do u buy it? Ulta, sephora, sally’s, anywhere….?
cultnails.com – it’s linked in the beginning and end of the review!
i am in LOVE with it, which is why I bought 2 when they had the buy 3 get 1 free haha.
it is sooo gorgeous!!!!
this polish reminds me of Bad kitty by China Glaze.
