CoverGirl Melted Gold (320) Flamed Out Shadow Pot
CoverGirl Melted Gold (320) Flamed Out Shadow Pot ($3.99 for 0.07 oz.) is a muted, yellow gold with a frosted finish. It had good color payoff both dry and wet, but the texture was slightly grainy. On the lid, I did have issues with fall out while I wore it. Disney Triton is similar, slightly warmer. Chanel Cool Gold is darker, cream. Sephora French Riviera is lighter. MAC Goldmine is warmer. Giorgio Armani #1 Spring 2012 #3 is similar. Chanel Pearl River #3 is similar. OCC Acacia is cooler-toned. bareMinerals Remix is similar. Make Up For Ever #10

Melted Caramel (330) Flamed Out Shadow Pot ($3.99 for 0.07 oz.) is a medium, slightly warmed-up brown with a hint of gray and a frosted finish. The pigmentation was nice with good, opaque coverage whether it was applied dry or wet, though it was smoother and easier to apply when applied with a damp brush. There was some fall out present after eight hours of wear. Clinique Ample Amber is a cream product. Tom Ford Platinum is grayer. MAC Romantico is darker. NARS Flowers 3 #3 is similar. MAC Lie Low is darker. MAC Tan is warmer. MAC Aurora is slightly darker. See comparison swatches.
Scorching Cocoa (355) Flamed Out Shadow Pot ($3.99 for 0.07 oz.) is a medium-dark, warm-toned brown with a little gray tint. It had good color payoff dry, and then it was darker and more intense when applied damp. This one had less fall out compared to the other two. Disney Chateau is darker. Tom Ford Platinum is a cream product. MAC Romantico is warmer. MAC Lie Low is warmer. MAC Deeply Dashing is more glittery. MAC Aurora is lighter. Illamasqua Focus is slightly grayer. See comparison swatches.
The major issue I had with these was fall out that occurred throughout the wear of each shade, and a secondary issue was that the texture had a grainy texture; not just powdery, but there was something gritty and rough about the texture of these. I felt like they really needed to be pressed and “crushed’ in a way in order to get them to look smooth on the lid. I highly recommend applying these damp, as it makes them easier to press into the skin. I didn’t experience any creasing or fading over an eight-hour period with these shades, though.

All these ”Overgirl” (;-)) shades are lovely, and I think they look great together!
I really love all three of these shades. And they look pretty good for the price.
Not the greatest i’ve seen, but at the same time they arent bad at all!!!
Those are pretty. I use CoverGirl foundation/powder/concealer but haven’t tried their eyeshadows.
Overall I like the colors.. good for every day looks.
Gorgeous together!
