It Cosmetics Warm Radiance CC+ Radiance Ombre Bronzer Review, Photos, Swatches
It Cosmetics Warm Radiance CC+ Radiance Ombre Bronzer
It Cosmetics Warm Radiance CC+ Radiance Ombre Bronzer ($34.00 for 0.57 oz.) is described as a “radiant bronze.” It’s a muted, medium brown with subtle warm undertones and a champagne and bronze shimmer. MAC Aphrodite’s Shell (LE, $33.00) is less shimmery. Too Faced Chocolate Soleil (P) is browner, less shimmery. NARS Laguna (P, $36.00) is warmer, less shimmery. MAC Sun Dipped (LE, $30.00) is yellower, less shimmery, darker. Chanel Sable Beige (LE, $60.00) is lighter. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
The palette has a mix of a more matte bronze and a more shimmery bronze, with the idea being you can adjust to get the desired finish you want. A little of the shimmer goes a long way; I don’t think I’d describe it as “subtly shimmering” as they do. It seems like a softer frost finish initially, but it had quite a bit of sheen and emphasizes my pores and the natural texture of the skin. The texture of the powder itself feels so lovely; incredibly soft, creamy, and smooth, but it really doesn’t do any favors for my skin once applied. It had good color payoff, and it was easy to blend and apply to the skin. The way the palette is designed, it’s hard to just get the matte bronzer side, as there’s only a wee bit of it peaking through, and honestly, the shimmer is quite woven throughout, even when it appears matte. The shimmer dominates in this palette, so I would only recommend this to someone who loves a shimmery, almost metallic, finish. The formula is also supposed to be waterproof and long-wearing, and it seemed water-resistant to me, but you can’t go swimming it and come out looking the same! Applied, the color wore well for nine hours, which was good wear.
P.S. — Sorry for the crazy eyes! Was already wearing the LORAC palette when this arrived for the day and wanted to try it right away, haha! A little taste of what it’s like behind-the-scenes 🙂

Reminds me of Kanebo Sensai duo bronzing powder
I haven’t seen that one before!
And I got Opal….
Oh, weird…there’s another Miss J here now. Imposter! Lol. 😛 You got Opal, too?! Can’t wait to hear what you think! I get mine tomorrow!
I figured with Opal Watch 2014… I had to see what the fuss was about, LOL! I think mine comes today or tomorrow as well!
Let’s hope it lives up to its hype!
Not really a product for me although I could pull this off better than the just reviewed comparable MAC product. Your eyes (yeah, both of ’em) look lovely!
LOL! 😉
Hmm, not sure how I feel about it.
LOL! Probably not great if that wasn’t the gut reaction!
Wow, it looks as though the actual “matte brown” part is maybe less than 1/5th of the pan. I like the ombre idea, just seems like it might be difficult with such a small surface… unless we’re applying this stuff with an eyeshadow brush. 😛
It is surprisingly small!
Thats a really pretty compact.. and the color seems really nice too.. but another extremely pore emphasizing product! Wish there was faint shimmer instead of such big ones!
Me too! Surprisingly shimmery!
It looks lovely on you!
Thanks, Mel!
It’s unfortunate that it emphasizes pores.
I’m with you on that! That’s the last thing I want!
I have to ask…what brand and lipcolor are you wearing?? Love it!!
On face: Guerlain Parure de Lumiere, Urban Decay Naked Loose Finishing Powder. On eyes: LORAC Pro Palette 2. On lips: Smashbox Azalea Be Legendary Lipgloss.
It’s weird you say it is overly shimmery, it shows up as a very subtle shimmer on myself. It is my favorite bronzer by far!!
This felt like 80% shimmer, 20% bronzer to me 🙁
Despite how visually appealing ombre powders can be, sometimes they’re just not practical!
Sincerely, your eyes look MARVELOUS. I hope you rock the “different eyes” look, now and again! It’s beautiful!
I have been wanted this for a while, buy waiting for our review! I love the tone of it… Perfect for my neutral tone..and the finish is gorg! Thank u. Will buy!
Love the eyes!
This looks perfect! I didn’t even notice the matte part at first but it’s a good idea. It’ll be great for mixing with the shimmery side. I want it!
Hehe crazy eyes are lovely eyes in your case! Can’t wait to see the full post! 😀
Also (since I’m obviously the wrong person to comment meaningfully on the actual bronzer, LOL) – what is with all that garbage marketing on the box?! ‘Anti-ageing’ bronzer? ‘Drops of light’ technology? What are they even talking about?! 😀 I kind of love it in a way, actually, and I know every brand does it, but this one really made me giggle 🙂
I actually already posted! They’re with the LORAC Pro Palette 2 review! 😀
I love this, though I’m not sure where they’d sell this brand here in Australia, might have to do some digging.
Please, please, do a look tutorial or feature for the smokier eye look (or both), if I could get LORAC here that look would have sold me on the Pro 2.
Hi Zainab,
Both looks were featured in the LORAC Pro Palette 2 review already! 🙂
Try their website, qvc, ulta & beauty.com
The color is pretty and it looks nice on!!! I don’t like the pore-emphasizing though!
It’s such a pretty color, but it’d probably look off on my oily skin! BTW, even though you apologized for the eye look, I personally think it is nice and freeing that you kept the eye look on instead of removing it just because it didn’t match. It makes you even more approachable and relatable :).
How much anti-aging can a powder do… But I guess any skin care benefit is good, so I’ll take it.
Oh that’s a pretty palette, but, too shimmery a bronzer for my liking!
Lovely eye looks, both eyes 😉
thanks for the review, now I know I definitely do not need this.
I purchased the cc+radiance Palette and it is fabulous!
