Copper & Bronze Look
Copper & Bronze Look
You could also add more color to this combo by adding a burgundy or berry eyeshadow (like MAC Cranberry) into the crease or on the outer third of the lid. I loved the lip combo the best from this look!
P.S. – Happy 500,000 comments! 🙂
You will need the following…
- Eyes: NARS Smudgeproof Eyeshadow Base (neutral eyeshadow base), MAC Paparazz-she Eyeshadow (copper), MAC Spectacle of Yourself Eyeshadow (bronze), MAC Tweet Me Eyeshadow (peachy-melon), Burberry Trench Eyeshadow, Urban Decay Lucky 24/7 Shadow Pencil (copper), Chanel Inimitable Intense Mascara (black)
- Face: Make Up For Ever HD Foundation (140), Burberry Pressed Powder (03)
- Cheeks: Benefit Bella Bamba Blush (pink)
- Lips: Guerlain Garance Rouge G Lipstick (pink-nude), Dior Apricot Cloche Ultra Gloss (peach-pink)
- Brushes: 249 (flat, firm brush), 239 (fluffy shadow brush), 222 (fluffy crease brush), 263 (angled eyeliner brush), 116 (dense blush brush)
- Substitutes: Paparazz-she = Copper Sparkle pigment; Spectacle of Yourself = Antiqued; Tweet Me = Melon
For eyes, start by applying Smudgeproof as your eyeshadow base all over the eye area with the 249. Using the 239, apply Paparazz-she eyeshadow on the lower lid. Lightly blend Spectacle of Yourself eyeshadow onto the outer corner and crease with the 222. Apply Tweet Me eyeshadow on the inner tear duct and crease with the 239. Blend Trench eyeshadow with the crease shade and highlight the brow bone. Bring everything together by applying Lucky on the lower lash line and pat Tweet Me eyeshadow on lower lower lash line. Finish by sweeping lashes with Inimitable Intense mascara.
For cheeks, apply Bella Bamba blush on the apples of the cheeks and sweep upwards towards the temple with the 116.
For lips, apply Garance lipstick first, then layer Apricot Cloche lipgloss for a complementing lip.
Paparazz-she eyeshadow look great on you but looks like a dark bronze compared to my fair skin tone. I was rather sadden by that fact.
Aww 🙁
I know … I wanted something more orange but C’est la vie.
I just makes me wish I was close enough to a MAC counter to test these things out.
Using Lucky on the waterline is a good idea BTW, I love it!
Wow, that lip combination is killer! And your eyes look soooo good too; the shading gives it a total cat-eye effect without liner. It’s like magic!
Thanks so much, Lena!
Hey I think you’ve a real eye for colours! I never really understood undertones properly until I read your blog! this is so pretty! I love bright colours toned down a little with neutrals.
Aww 🙂 Thank you, Etaoin!!
LOL, neither did I until I started blogging!
sometimes I re-read your descriptions after I buy something to figure out the undertones! They are spot on! Also now I’m so used to your lip swatches that eventhough I know the lipstick will look slightly different on my lips I know what the difference is going to be!
Oh my gaaawd! FIRE! Love the copper 🙂
YAY! Thanks, Roxanne!
wow this is beautiful
Thanks, Isabella!
Beautiful! I love the melon/bronze combo.
Thanks a lot, Naz!
Can you suggest a dupe for the Guerlain lipstick—the price tag is far too steep for me here in Canada.
Can’t think of one, sorry!
Beautiful!
Thanks, Joanne!
Thanks, Joanne! 😀
Love this look!
Thanks so much, Lindsay!
Love it!
Thanks, Dawn!
How lovely!! I think I can achieve this look using tokidoki’s Royal Pride palette! I’m going to try it!
Thanks a lot, Yuly!
I love the lip combo of this look, so pretty and fresh. Bella Bamba blush seems more of a darker pink, but it is beautiful as well.
Thanks, Penelope!
The eyes open, smiling pic is so lovely it could be a glamour shot. You’re positively glowing!
Aw, thanks, Vijaya!
amazing look! I have a thing for copprs so I had to get MAC Paparazz-she Eyeshadow! I also like copprs with navy blue!
Thanks so much, Banan!
Love coppers and bronzes! They really bring out blue and green eyes. Your iris looks like a leopard print. Its really cool.
Thanks, Leah 🙂
The lips are gorgeous!
Thanks a lot, Svetlana!
Really pretty. Cant wait to get some things from the peacocky collection and you cemented my desire to purchase Paparazz-she 🙂
What else is on your list, LH?
I’d like to try and get Odalisque,Dalliance and I’d like to try one of the lip colors to. But most def Paparazz-she 🙂
Gorgeous! This look makes it hard to resist those Mega Metal shadows.
I had no idea Burberry had a makeup range!
Thanks, Janine! They definitely do – surprisingly good!
Oh wow, that is stunning!
Thanks, Nana!
wow! so beautiful! Thanks Christine ….I’ll definitely try this look!
Thanks so much, Preeti!
You look so pretty! I am gonna try this, my skintone it’s similar like yours 🙂
Thanks a lot, Maryel!
Wow, I love this look! The gold in the pink lipcolors are just enough to tie it with the eyecolors. It really brings out your hazel!
Thanks, Bunners 🙂
Gorgeous! Oddly enough, i’m wearing pretty much the exact same eye look today. Not the same products, but spot on colors, even for the highlight, ha SO weird! I used a new L’oreal duo that i’m totally head over heels for now. Seriously, best quality shadow i’ve come across at the drugstore, and those duos are really hit or miss for me. My version is pretty much the look for less, now that I think of it, haha.
That’s so great! You’ll have to tell me the name!
Oh! Yup, it’s called Charged. Totally thought I mentioned that, but yeah, it rocks.
Oh my goodness, so beautiful! Your eyes look so warm 🙂 The lower lashline is perfectly done and pretty! I hope to possess your skills someday. Good grief this is beautiful!
Thanks so much, Joyce 😀
I really like this – not everyone can pull off such a rich copper, but you do it wonderfully.
Thanks a lot, Angela 🙂
Love the look!! So beautiful
Thanks, Hend!
this look popped up in my email inbox, and I just about died from all that awesomeness. Can’t wait to try this!!!
Thank you, Evelyn 😀
stunning as always!
Just waiting for peacoky to come online in the UK, paparazz-she is my colour 😀
Thanks a lot, Hannah!
LOVE. I think I’d use Amber Lights instead of a more orange color (I don’t like orange + neutrals on me) but this works so well for you and the LIPS <3 I've been wanting to get another Rouge G lately. I'm going to hold off until the day they make good on their refills promise, but I'm sure they will eventually, and Garance will be on the list when I do.
You could definitely use Amber Lights instead!! 🙂
They’ve been saying refills for a couple of years now, arghhhhhh!
OMG, I loved this makeup!
xx
Thanks, Liica!
Beautiful look, Christine! I love orangey coppers on brown eyes. I think I’m going to dupe this today!
Thank ya, Meheen!
I luv the look! :DDD
Thanks, Mary! 🙂
I LOOOOVVVE this look!!! I might have to go and get paparazz-she to try and copy this look! Is it just me or is everyone loving these mega metal shadows?!? *happy!*
Thanks so much, Kathryn!
LURVE THEM!
This looks beautiful on you Christine! x
Thanks, Samaira!
Wow! So beautiful, I have paparazz she and tweet me, I may have to get spectacle of yourself to make this look, you look beautiful.
Thanks a lot, Fabiola!
Very dramatic!
Garance is such a beautiful wearable shade, isn’t it? I think Ginger would look stunning with this eye makeup too…
Thank you! 🙂 It is! I wish the labels were easier to read on the Rouge Gs, because I was kind of thinking Ginger but was in a rush, pulled Garance and ran with it, haha.
Eh, tell me about it – it’s so annoying not being able to read the labels properly. I don’t even bother trying to read the ones on the bottom of the tube, I keep them in their boxes (so I can store them upright!) and I still have to squint to read the dark grey writing on black. I finally decided to keep them in numerical order and that works pretty well, until I buy a new one and it has to slot in! Ha ha! What a terrible problem to have though 😉
Do you like Bella Bamba as much as Sugarbomb?
I like it but Sugarbomb is still my fave!
looks pretty on you…. love the combination.
Thank ya, Jenny!
Thank you Christine.
I love it. Will definitely give the eye look a try.
Thanks so much!
Glorious!
I must do this look this weekend!
Thanks, Kathy!
Thanks a lot, Kathy!
I really like this look the Cooper color is nice. I might try this with a cranberry color like you mentioned.
It would be beautiful with Cranberry!
Hi Christine! I went the MAC @ Nordstrom in Cerritos CA to preorder a couple of things from the WW collection & they didn’t have any pricing. Thanks to you I knew what the prices were. They don’t have the products out yet but they have a book with all the photos of the products. I told them about Temptalia & they said that’s where they printed all the photos! I just thought I’d let you know 🙂 Btw I love this look! Bronze eyeshadows are my fav!
Haha! Love this story! Thank you for sharing, Bianca 🙂
Great look!!! I love Garance – thanks for reminding me I have it lol 🙂
Thanks, Andrea! No problem! 😛
Totally copying this look! I’ll use the dupes I have for the colors you used that I don’t own. <3
YAY! 🙂
You always manage to create looks that I would have never created that way! It’s amazing and so inspiring to me 🙂
Thanks a lot, Katja!
I’ve really missed your “look” posts! This is gorgeous!
Thank you, Stace!
I never knewq orange could be pulled off so well! So pretty! Out of curiosity…do you take all of your pictures yourself? The full face ones are goregous and so perfectly centered! Or does someone take them for you? 🙂 Thanks as always for another amazing look! So inspirational!

This is beautiful! I have hazel eyes like you, and I have a tan, but copper-y colors never look good on me! I love those eye shadows those, Tweet Me looks really pretty. 🙂
Thank you, Alexandra!
Stunning. Love it. I also love the lip combo!
Thanks, Farida!
Wow! One of your best looks. The colours are gorgeous on you and go really well with the top you are wearing too 🙂
Thanks a lot, Alison!
Wow, love this look! This combination of shades is striking. I swatched Paparazz-she today at Macy’s and it’s a gorgeous color, but I wasn’t sure if I could pull it off. Looks lovely on you though, so maybe I will give it a go! 🙂
Thank you, Shannon!
wowww amazing look for you 🙂 im totally diggin the fact that the coppery bronze matches the pretty colors in your eyes! beauty-ful 🙂
Thanks, Lori!
How is it that in every single one of your photos you manage to get the exact same angle of your face shots? It is almost like u use the same photo and just “photo-shop” the color changes:) I know you don’t but I’m curious because you are always tilting your head to your left in all of them. Amazing.
lol, lots of practice and knowing what angle works! 🙂
The lip combo is my favorite too! Very pretty look.
Thanks, Tay!
Christine, I gotta say I love this look on you! Sometimes I feel like your lipstick doesn’t quite go with your eye look, but this time you really hit it off!
Thank you, Steph!
pretty! paparazz-she looks almost orange on you!
Thanks, Sara!
I would love to see you do a youtube video tutorial on this look. Please pretty please with sugar on top?
Thank you for the suggestion, Andrea!
