Man, that’s uninspired. I like the packaging and that’s all. Most of these brands aren’t even trying anymore, with the exception of a few. Indie shadows have it all over this mediocrity!
I’m calling it: Cash Grab. I’m definitely not feeling this one the same way I did the previous palette.
I like these colors. They remind me of some recent Natasha Denona eyeshadow shades that spoke to me.
Right? The shimmers have a colder metallic vibe to them which I think is perfectly fitting.. I like the subtle nuances here with the tangerine pop.
Definitely a cash grab, but I also love the color story. Best one CP has put out in awhile in my opinion. I’ll put this one in this Maybe pile.
Wow thanks for uploading these swatches in so timely a manner! I like these colors. I think these colors fit the coloring of the series even if it doesn’t really stand out from all the palettes out there.
Agree!
Hmm – I think CP is unsure whether to make this one a warm toned or a cool toned palette. The inclusion of the orange shade really jars with the rest of the palette, as does Clan of Two. Some of these grey tones would have work well in the palette you’ve just reviewed. A confused effort, shall we say.
I love how the warm and cool are mixed together.
I like the color story. I just watched a review of this palette from Makeup.Just.For.Fun, and she had trouble with the mustard and mauve shades, but wasn’t sure if she got a palette where they were pressed too hard or something.
It’s only $16! I ordered both because between them there’s more than $32 in value of shades I want. I’m sure when I play with them I’ll like even more! Again, $16 😉
I think the colors in this palette are pretty representative of the overall vibe of the show. I personally like it, but not enough to purchase.
The Child palette was SUCH a good palette in my opinion. Hope this one is just as good.
Deep breaths. I don’t need it. I’m not gonna buy it. I can dupe it with shades I already have. It is not necessary to collect the companion palette to the one I already have (which I probably wouldn’t have bought myself if I hadn’t won it in a giveaway). Repeat…
The only reason I’d buy this is for the packaging. I have all these colors in abundance.
Though, this does make me want to try and mustard/mauve/dirty olive green look with a blue/brown shimmer (which I can get with my ND shadows). I think that would be a really cool color combo!
I think this is beautifully done!
I really like this palette! It’s got an edgy, steely vibe to it.
I don’t own this palette, but I keep seeing a ton of people say they’re only buying it for that middle shade “Clan of Two” – based on the swatches it looks almost identical to Sydney Grace’s “Red Chameleon” shade – just in case anyone wanted to buy a single shadow rather than a whole palette! All of these shades are easily duped.
