We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when
a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set
expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up
being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!
Interesting and imagination pushing color choices! But I think I can safely skip this as I believe I can dupe almost every shade. It does look like fun, though!
As much as I enjoyed Lizzie McGuire growing up, this collection is a definite pass for me. Dear Diary and Don’t Freak are the only colors in the palette that really speak to me. I am disappointed by the inclusion of the pressed glitter and sequin shades.
This is so fun and for the theme they definitely got the palette right (and the packaging for the eye shadow is adorable). I lived for Lizzie back in the day and was so sad when the remake fell through. I could see myself using all of the colors, but I’m sticking to my guns and refusing to buy any more palettes with the matte with micro glitter shades. Yes, you can work around them… but it is annoying and I’d rather not deal with it. The pressed glitter is not great and usually I avoid them, but I can find uses for them and just having one doesn’t bother me nearly as much as the glittery mattes.

I like the colorstory, but it’s too similar to the cp sailor moon palette for me to get. It should be awesome for anyone that missed out of the sm palette, though.
I have no idea who the Lizze McGuire is, but this palette is for a demographic that is not mine. The swatches look reasonably good, with Outie being a lovely peachy rose shade.

It was a tv show on Disney in the early 00’s–it was cute! The cartoon girl on the package would show up on screen to represent the main character’s inner monologue and do a lot of eye rolling, haha.
Not sure if they’re trying to market it as a nostalgia item for those of us who used to watch who are now in our 20s and 30s or if they think teens now are watching on Disney+ and might be into it, but either way I think they missed the mark a bit.

Listen, ColourPop, I just got done saying that I was proud of you for not including a pressed glitter in this palette, and what did you do? You included a pressed glitter in this palette. Stupid company, you made me look bad, booga booga booga!
The shades here do look nice, but I’m just not tempted by any of this. Is it just me, or are bright, vibrant colors the “it” thing nowadays?
I saw your initial comment and immediately when I realized there was glitter I thought, “Oh no, she’s gonna be so disappointed!” And also, yeah, Colourpop can keep its pressed glitter, thanks, I prefer unscratched corneas.

The “Booga booga booga” just took me out 😂
