That’s a lot of pink. And the theme… It’s so close to the KY Derby, but released too late and not the colors.

It makes me want a Derby palate: bay brown, rose red, cool dark green, light mint julip, warm soft blue, soft off-white, and a couple of matte neutrals. Maybe a blush with loud jockey colors that spread out to a pinky-red.

OMBFG! Sodashi is running in the Preakness. If you don’t know this Japanese filly, look her up. Fessing up: good performance is great, but I approach it like a dog show. Confirmation. And beauty, so I guess appropriate here, lol.

This collection will be available tomorrow, the 19th (not the 10th). While I find some of these brown shades redundant to what I have in my collection, I love them paired with the pinks and this palette is pleasing to my eye. I’m also an equestrian so this is super cute and right up my alley. I definitely want the palette and maybe the warmer pink Fresh Kiss Lip Lacquer (haven’t tried them yet). I’d like the cute little cowgirl hat too :p

I feel drawn to this as a Midwesterner… especially that deep purple/pink shade. Hmm. Kind of a fun color story, but not for me!

Lol, *blush shade. It’s just such a given that I’m only interested in blushes and ignore anything pink-related for eyeshadow that I didn’t even bother to specify… :’D

Pink attack! LOL! Not for me, but some young (or older) pink lover, like one of my best friends would like this. I must add though, when I saw this I thought, will ColourPop ever slow down??? I know that’s their business model, never stop rebranding the same colors and keep the quality acceptable, costs down and price points affordable, but I think of them as the “pastel color club”. If ever I needed a pastel, they’d be the ones I’d look to, unless I wanted power color, I’d think Limecrime. πŸ˜‰
