ColourPop You're Kitten Me Pressed Powder Shadow

You're Kitten Me

You’re Kitten Me is a darker, plummy brown with subtle, warm undertones and flecks of purple micro-sparkle over a pearl-like finish. It had opaque color coverage in a single pass, which adhered evenly to bare skin and blended out well along the edges without getting patchy. It had a thin, lightly emollient feel to the touch, which turned more powder-like once it came into contact with skin. It stayed on well for 10 hours without fading or creasing on me.

Formula Overview

$4.50/0.05 oz. - $90.00 Per Ounce

The new Pressed Powder Shadow formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with an “ultra-velvety and silky” texture that is “long-wearing” and “adheres easily to the eyes.” Most of the shades have semi-opaque to opaque pigmentation that applies well to bare skin, blends out without issue, and lasts for seven to eight hours.

The matte eyeshadows tend to be a little more powdery, though soft and finely-milled, in the pan, while the shimmers have a creamier, dense consistency. Occasionally, the more sparkly or metallic shades apply better with fingertips or a dampened brush.

ColourPop Mutts About You Pressed Powder Shadow

Mutts About You

Mutts About You is a brighter, medium yellow-gold with moderate, warm undertones and flecks of pink and gold sparkle paired with a metallic finish. The texture was smooth to the touch, emollient and wet, but it was thin and felt more powder-like once it came into contact with my skin. It had rich color payoff that applied well to bare skin and lasted well for 10 hours without creasing or fading.

Not a big Colourpop fan but might just need these. For a good cause and I love those shades. I did like the one Super Shock Shadow I had although it dried up after a couple of years.

I bought last year’s version and it’s my go-to work look so I definitely bought this year’s. Although, I can only really use Good Boy as an inner corner highlight (which means I probably will never make a dent in it before it dries up) so I’m glad to see the gold here is more medium toned.

Just to let you know that if you click on the names of the shadows they are listed as pressed powder rather than super shocks. Very cute shades though!
