ColourPop Flirt Alert Blush Review & Swatches

Flirt Alert
ColourPop Flirt Alert Pressed Powder Blush ($8.00 for 0.13 oz.) is a light-medium pink with muted, neutral-to-warm undertones and a matte finish. The powder felt quite silky-smooth to the touch, but it seemed overly emollient as it did not adhere well to my arm; that being said, it applied well to bare skin and almost blended itself. It had semi-sheer, buildable pigmentation that lasted nicely for eight hours before fading visibly.

Formula Overview
$12.00/0.28 oz. - $42.86 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to go on "smoothly" and have a "natural and healthy flush" that has "long wear" and "can be layered to your desired intensity." It is a lightly to moderately powdery powder blush with semi-sheer to semi-opaque, buildable color payoff. The consistency has a drier, thinner feel and though it feels silky to the touch, I found it the type of powder blush can be tricky to blend out evenly on the skin, depending on one's skin type or base preferences. The drier the skin/base, the better the formula would blend, but any natural oils or slip caused the blush to go on unevenly and was difficult to blend out. The wear was between seven and eight hours on me on average.

I have the Sydney Grace dupes as well as PMG Fleurtatious…and I cannot imagine beating that formula. Love the colour tho.
I quite like this shade and the undertones, being more neutral may suit me well. Do you think it would work on someone with pink undertones Christine?
Because I have PML Divine Rose blush and Tarte Paaaarty, I think I’m covered! But, this really is a beautiful shade for an “everyday” or work friendly blush.
Ticks me off that the only place you can find these are Mercari,Poshmark & Ebay for tons of money. Colourpop dropped the ball on this stocking wise.
I think they made a lot, they just didn’t make enough, lol! I hope they restock soon.
Hey Ter!
I was just on CP’s Instagram a minute ago, and they announced a restock on the heart blushes at 10AM PT today! 🙂
This looks so pretty on you, Christine – much prettier than it looks in the pan (I thought it would be dull and “nude-ish” but it’s a flattering rosy pink and really nice).
Thank you, Mariella!
On the site looks more nude, like beige, I want to order this one, looks so pretty!
