ColourPop All That Topaz Eyeshadow Quad Review & Swatches
All That Topaz
ColourPop All That Topaz Pressed Powder Shadow Quad ($9.00 for 0.21 oz.) is a new, topaz-inspired color story that included two shimmers and two matte shades housed in a clear, plastic compact. One of the shimmers had noticeable fallout and was best used with a dampened brush or fingertip, but the other three shades were pigmented, blendable, and very easy to work with.

Good as Gild
Good as Gild is a pale yellow with warmer undertones and a smooth, metallic sheen. It had mostly opaque color payoff that was easily built up to full coverage if desired. The texture was lightly emollient, almost spongy to the touch, but blendable and not prone to fallout. It stayed on well for eight hours before fading visibly.

Formula Overview
$4.50/0.05 oz. - $90.00 Per Ounce
The new Pressed Powder Shadow formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with an “ultra-velvety and silky” texture that is “long-wearing” and “adheres easily to the eyes.” Most of the shades have semi-opaque to opaque pigmentation that applies well to bare skin, blends out without issue, and lasts for seven to eight hours.
The matte eyeshadows tend to be a little more powdery, though soft and finely-milled, in the pan, while the shimmers have a creamier, dense consistency. Occasionally, the more sparkly or metallic shades apply better with fingertips or a dampened brush.

LELimited Edition. $4.50.
Gold Dust
Gold Dust is a rich, marigold with strong, warm undertones and a sparkling, metallic finish. It had opaque pigmentation in a single layer, but it had a more fragile texture–slightly loosely pressed–and was prone to fallout when used with a dry brush, even if I paid attention and really tried to avoid it. I’d recommend using this with a fingertip or a dampened brush to avoid fallout if that is a deal-breaker. It wore well for eight hours before fading noticeably.

Natural State
Natural State is faded, peachy-orange with warm undertones and a matte finish. The consistency was smooth, velvety, and slightly powdery, but it seemed confined to the pan as it had opaque color payoff that blended out well and wasn’t prone to fallout. It lasted well for eight hours before fading a bit.

Really pretty little quad! Thinking that I could just use some of what I have here already, though. Like; UD Naked Honey along with MAC Soft Brown?
👍🏻
Sorry ColourPop, this isn’t calling my name. I don’t do these shades well. I am happy to see it scored well, though. Most of the time CP gets it right, formula, colors and packaging. I am mostly looking at the new SSS right now. I really like several of them.
Very pretty useful little quad – and no pinks or reds!
Colors like Natural State go well with my green eyes. I never know what to do with the really dark ones though. I am now a huge Cp fan from your reviews, Christine! I was squeaking with excitement over the create-your-own palettes from this company.
Thank you, Kim!
I am so sick of warm palettes. I am looking for a great neutral cool toned palette. Do you have any A rate sugestions?
