Warm Sands, Cool Waves
About this Story
The nautical magnetic palette I got from Etsy deserves a matching color story. 🙂 There are sunny neutrals, a silvery shimmery shifty shade, and a few pops of cool-toned sea shades. I think it’ll work okay for making neutral eye looks topped with a little silver shimmer, and the greens and blues are my favorite eyeliner shades.
If I had my own eyeshadow lab, I wouldn’t have included such warm yellowy shades, but the only easily depotted neutrals are from my yellow Colourpop palette. The resulting contrast of warm vs. cool and yellow vs blue is more unique than just blues and taupes would have been, though.
(Looxi’s Genesis isn’t in the database, so Good Gawd its placeholder. They are both silvery shifty shadows, but Good Gawd is a chunky sparkly topper with purple/green reflects vs. Genesis’s smoother and more opaque shimmery pink/aqua reflects.)
