A soft berry pink, because I usually wear berry or red lips. Then plum, coral, and nude in that order.
I always prefer that the lips and blush are in the same color family!
Brown-pink mauve on neutral days when I feel like only wearing lipstick would look too unfinished and I don’t have time to do much make-up, but I definitely gravitate towards coral otherwise and will almost always choose it when picking blushes from a new collection!
Light coral and peach colours. I have very pale warm skin, and that seems to be the only colours that suit me.
I only like wearing hot pink or dark raspberry shades. Everything else looks washed out or unflattering on me.
Soft, dusky pinks, like NARS Douceur or MAC Blushbaby. I also like nudes & subtle plums. My entire blush stash is made up of these 3 shades, and to the “average” person, they’d all look almost alike, LOL!
I will wear bold eyes, and “unconventional” lip colors, but I like to keep my base products more natural looking.
Really bright blue pinks and then corals 🙂
NARS Orgasm or Armani #2 they just go with everything!
Earthy toned, neutrals like Tarte’s Exposed or MAC Gingerly.
True reds are the closest color to a natural flush, so usually a wash of Nars Exhibit A is what I go for. It’s a matte shade, I really buff it into the skin and layer it to the intensity that I want, rather than try to get it right in one sweep. It looks very natural on me, and doesn’t emphasize any pores. Buffing doesn’t disturb my foundation, because it’s rare if I ever wear any!
Dusty peachy colors. Think mac Melba and stila peony
Mauve-y pink 🙂
Cool toned pinks! The hunt is still on though, nothing seems cool enough on my cheeks. Illamasqua Katie, Nars Gaiety, Nars Desire, Sleek Santorini, Mac Azalea – all great, but once they hit my cheeks, they warm up incredibly 🙁
Peach!
Rosy pink and bright coral.
Coral!
Coral and orange. My cheeks are naturally pretty rosey, so even with a good base I find it hard to apply red or pink toned blushes in a way that doesn’t just look like I’ve skipped foundation. A good orange blush though can blend with the raspberry tones on my skin and create the most gorgeous flush.
I used to be soooo into coral, but lately I’ve been loving dusty rose shades such as Benefit Rockateur and NARS Unlawful.
Pinky peach!
Neutral all d time
Definitely orange. Orange toned blushes look so pretty and natural against brown skin
Coral/Beige ( Mac Sincere)
Plum
Deeper neutrals that sort of act as both contour and blush! I love MAC “Blush All Day”
Corals and peaches for me mostly! If i want to amp it up and go for that 80’s cheek look, I’ll pull out plums and deeper colors.
Pink and peach!
I’m in the NC50 range and I love orange blushes – bronzed orange, matte orange, brown orange, orange/red blushes, etc.
Any blush with a peach/salmon/coral tone!
Neutral tawny/mauve colors and true peaches. I also love red toned blushes, because applied lightly they give a natural sun kissed color to the cheeks!
Either a light blue based pink, like Mac Well Dressed, or a peachy pink, like Chanel Joues Contraste in Malice.
Since the fall and now into the winter, I have been gravitating toward neutral shades. I have even used some lighter bronzers on my checks. I wear a lot of reds and browns in the cooler months and these colors seem to go nicely with my clothes choices right now. Usually, I am a peach oriented kind of gal when it comes to blushes, so this is a change for me . I just ordered a Kevin Aucoin blush in neutral (my first blush from this line and ouchy expensive) and I am excited to try it out.
Neutral, gingery, dusty colors I find hard to describe, the kind of color that’s often suggested for redheads. Laura Mercier’s Wild Bouquet is my favorite, Lancome’s Miel Glace and NARS Douceur are close.
Lately though, I’m all about soft mauve/plum, especially Rituel de Fille’s cream blush Desire. I think I need more color to survive the Boston winter.
Peachy shades! I don’t have a lot of blushes and I don’t wear it very often, but when I do it’s mostly Sleek Rose Gold!
Lately its been mauvey neutrals.
Le Femme Terracotta or Sleeks Rose Gold. Peach pink or warm coral pinks mostly.
I can’t get enough of mauve blushes!
Peach and orange!
Dusty rose tones for a natural flush. I love Hourglass’s Mood Exposure and Armani’s sheer blush #10 (long discontinued but it has lasted years for me)
I usually alternate between my Maybelline Dream Bouncy blushes in Fresh Pink for Summer and Plum Wine for Winter. I want to try some of the peach and coral colors this summer though, so we’ll see! I’m very fair and cool, so just the slightest touch of blush is a natural flush, and anything more is treading towards clown territory.
Blue-based pinks like Cargo Bali, MAC Coy Girl and MAC Gentle. I also use NARS Orgasm and NARS Deep Throat regularly. I guess they’re a mix between peach and coral.
Christine, I’d love it if you would review Cargo blushes. They’re very high quality.
Fuchsia blushes and blue medium pink tones.
Burberry Hydrangea Pink, Armani 507 Flesh, Mac Peony Petal, Mac Bred for Beauty, Mac Whole lotta love are some of my favorites.
Neutrals, earth-toned, Burnt browns and mauves.
I love anything coral, peachy-pink, or orange-toned. Since I have a warmer complexion I think these are the shades that look best on me, plus they are the prettiest, IMO!
Coral!
Peachy shades with a touch of brown in them
I generally purchase pink shades of blush.
Tarte Exposed, Nars Doucer, Mac Blushbaby type of colors..
I’m usually drawn to coral to coral pink.
Coral and Berry for sure!
for me a soft apricot pink
I would definitely say I gravitate towards peach blushes. I think they look very natural on my fair skin, and I like the way they apply.
Orchid! Or sometimes a weird mix of a fuschia-y-purple… I love Chanel’s Vivacitie. So sad they discontinued it on the website…
Pinks – always pinks : )
Anything that looks like MAC’s Mighty Aphrodite — a sort of corally pink.
That’s interesting because I have just been looking around for a new blush. I decided to try the NYX sunkissed palette. I like peachy and coral tones. Nars Laguna works well too. But I prefer blushes that are multi toned to give a bit of contouring and highlighting as well.
normally a cool based pink unless I’m wearing warmer tones in my clothing, then I go for the corals. I’m lucky to be a neutral based person but I seem to gravitate to cooler colors.
Neutral colors in the dusty rose family.
Coral and warm berry tones look best against my light-medium neutral brown skin. The right shade of peach, orange and bold red are still on my “to-blush list”…
Soft pink with a touch of coral.
Orange or coral
Dusty roses and muted peaches.
Bright pale pink
Pinky shades in the winter and spring, peachy corals in the summer and autumn!
Corals in spring and summer and berries or dusty roses in fall and winter.
I don’t wear blush cause I don’t want to highlight my cheek’s skin marks and flakiness (both powder and creams highlight that), but I’d go with coral, too, or a light olive-beige
I usually go for a reddish brown (MAC Raizin or Black Radiance Toasted Almond)
shimmery baby pink!
browns, oranges, pinks, purples & golds – basically warm colors.
peach / coral or a bright pink (with a very very light hand) to give a soft flushed look
Coral
Pale pinks or light browny peach colors 🙂 Both are really easy to match with an eye look and look flattering on my skintone. My more daring / less lazy side loves orange blush, though!
A warm plum.
Shades of peach are my favorite my second choice are dusty pinks.
Pink. Weather it’s a neutral pink, a soft rose, or a bright pink, that’s the color family I go for because when I blush naturally, or get flushed, my cheeks are bright pink :).
Anything coral or orange catches my eye!
more bronze and earth colors as I am tan/dark tan and it looks the most natural.
Pink-y mauve/mauve-y pink
