We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

I hope these are as good as they sound. In a sea of skyrocketing (pardon the mixed metaphor) cosmetic prices (very often totally unjustified), Clinique seems a brand that still has good quality products at more affordable prices, even if their image still seems to be a bit “stodgy”. This is a nice change from a lot of what I’ve seen lately – basically drug store type lip glosses in the “over $40” price range. And who doesn’t look forward to a new red lipstick for autumn, especially with fewer people wearing masks (though I won’t be one of them).

Their Pop lipsticks are underrated. Their range of nudes is insane and they have such a nice understanding of what “nude” means to different skin tones. Just as an example my skin tone is very pinky/peachy, I have never met a “pinky nude” that didnt look like concealer on me and the only way I can get a pinky nude effect is to use a straight up pink lipstick that is very slightly beige. Their nude range includes these types of pinks. Peppermint Pop is also my favorite red lipstick of all time, if you like a brighter red and you live for a red lipstick I am telling you you have to try it. These reds look nice but I’m not sure any of them can beat Peppermint Pop.
