I bought 2 of these when they first came out. I love the way they look and feel on… but one of them is broken already. I opened it one day and the lipbalm was stuck inside the lid. I got it out and pushed it back in the tube but its still not right. I love the color and what it does to my lips though.

I have both Whole Lotta Honey and Super Strawberry. Love them both, they have a nice sheen and last about 3 hrs on me leaving behind a slight stain. I’m thinking of getting Mega Melon, just so I have a neutral, pink and peach.

I just swatched these at Sephore on Friday. I was really looking forward to some awesomeness, but I was greatly disappointed. Other than Chunky Cherry and Graped-up, all the others are so close in color, I couldn’t discern a big difference. The application and saturation is very similar to Tarte’s line. But, the real killer for me was the smell. I can look past that they do not smell as their namesakes. But, oh my! the odor! Much like really bad off brand crayons. I’ll pass on these!

Fair warning, these don’t smell that great. They’re pretty good for their intended purpose (moisturizing + adding a dash of color), but they smell has sort of put me off of them. I definitely prefer the MAC lip conditioner, which is also less expensive and gives more product for your money.

Just so everyone’s aware, Clinique’s point of difference as a predominantly skincare house is that they are Allergy Tested and 100% Fragrance Free so they will most certainly have no specific scent or flavour beyond the ingredients that make up the product 🙂 I have Whoppin’ Watermelon and I love it to bits! Can’t wait to get more shades 😀

These look kinda cool. I like the whole crayon-like thing going on. They don’t look ultra-pigmented, but I’m pale, so that’s OK!
How do these compare to the NARS Velvet Gloss pencils? Any thoughts?

I bought Ulta Lip Crayon. Got it for 20% off of $8.00. Very moisturizing. And has color. Made in Germany. Similar to this Clinique product. size 2.8 gram (.10 oz.) Used Clinque exclusively when I was in high school eons ago. Just not going to pay for brand name when I can get a similar product for a lower price.

i prefer the tart lipsurgences!! the color range is much more different than each other than these..at first i was excited but now im like nahhhh… 😛

Yes, that first line of Raisin, Fig, Honey and Melon (why do they always name makeup after food, it makes me hungry!) all look super similar. I guess the natural tone of your lips will probably change how they look on though.

I REALLY like the packaging of these, it’s really nifty! They’re super cute, but I imagine if the stick comes out of the base, it’s all over, Rover…

I’m gonna pass on these…

Um, these look exactly like Tarte’s LipSurgence tints. They may be the same, since the colors are VERY similar, as well. I think the Tarte ones are more pigmented. In any case, I love my Tarte tints and they’re very moisturizing as well.

Hmmm, these shades are a little darker and duller than I prefer, but Mega Melon looks ok. I would love to hear that these are uber-moisturizing and long-lasting but will wait for your review. 🙂

I have the Fuller Fig. I love it. Perfectly neutral, my lips but better. I have the Tarte Lipsurgence as well, and as much as I love Tarte, I like the Clinique better because it is more moisturizing. I think I prefer the Clinique right now because of the season, the winter is really drying me out.

I’ve been using Graped Up for about a week and I love the color pay-off and that it doesn’t dry my lips. I want more but they are sold out almost everywhere!

Can’t wait to see your review on these. I have all of them and I love them! The first four do look very similar in your swatches, but I find that on the lips, they definitely look different. Some of them maybe not dramatically, but different enough. My lips are pretty pigmented too.

I have sensitive skin..

When I tried the clinique moisturizer – I broke out in welts on my chin and nose….painful, dry and burning. The lady at the Clinique counter “convinced” me that I needed to stick with the moisturizer.

The issue just compounded.

The moisturizer is WAY too drying. So I stopped using it all

I switched to Shielo’s Complexion Moisturizer, with the Shielo Anti-Aging Complexion Scrub (as my face wash) and within 2 days, I had NO itchy bumps on my forehead. The welts disappeared. I also had beautiful plump hydrated eyes.

I ended up buying 2 more moisturizers and gifted one to my sister who now loves it! Shielo is “allergy tested, dermatologist recommended” products.

Look at the ingredients…for one thing, Clinique does not list them online and are very reluctant to give out when you call….go with Shielo if you finally realize clique is not working out for you….
