I am curious how these differ from the original Cheek Pop formula. Those are my favorite blushes.
It looks like maybe they are more luminous? I found that some shades of the original formula did impact a natural luminous finish already.
Will you be reviewing these, Christine? They look like they would be natural-looking with any skin tone. Opal and Ruby have my eye!
OOOOH I WANT ALL OF THESE! I’m in Canada and Sephora is showing 4 of these and Clinique is showing 6, maybe 2 are exclusive to Clinique. Can’t wait to see reviews and dupes!
The idea is great, the predecessors are great. These could be phenomenal. But then there’s outrageous ‘fauxtoshopping.’ We all know the images are altered, especially on the darker skinned models, so as to make the products seem vivid, visible, doable. Kind of pandering to the consumer, with zero payoff (both meanings.). Very wrong note, because Clinique/EL portrays this product as inclusive. Do better. Actually make the blushes inclusive.
Pretty. These promo images look a little different from what I’ve seen on Asian sites, but they all look pretty wearable. I’m hoping they haven’t discontinued the original range, because Pansy pop is one of my everyday colours. I am trying not to buy backups just in case, but it looks like Clinique is refreshing their blush colours.
All I really want is for them to add Ballerina Pop to their existing Western lineup, then bring in other shades in a variety of finishes that don’t have to be introduced as their own line—and that way you don’t lock yourself into a separate concept that won’t work for everyone. I was wondering lately whether they’d update the Cheek Pops, but I was hoping for something a little different.
Ah, I misunderstood. I see these are additions to the existing range, or at least that’s how the Sephora site is representing them. I’m not excited by these promo images but I’ll wait to see swatches.
LOL! I hear ya! I was hopefully that shade would eventually pop up here, but it never happened. I just want the single; I don’t want a palette that sometimes features the shades we don’t get here.
Once I use up my Ballerina Pop in the Cool Down palette I am fully prepared to either order the single off BeautyBoxKorea or an eBay seller, or give the remainder of my palette to my mom and find another one somewhere, lol!
This must be why I was able to stock up on the regular cheek pops at a discount a few months ago. I’m glad I did! Not everything has to be “radiant.” I’m so over that trend. Some of us aren’t trying to have every wrinkle or pore catch the light. These new colors are very pretty, though.
There is PFAS (Teflon) in the old product, I read somewhere that they were redoing the line to not have that in them. These ones don’t have it in the ingredients list.
I have the distinct feeling that Topaz Pop will wind up in my cart during Sephora Rouge sale!
I think blush is the last thing I need more of, but I won’t lie, these are tempting. I just have to remember that I don’t like shimmery blush… 🙂
Ooooooh.. The regular formula was one which grew on me. Initially, I found the formula too stiff and too sheer. I was a later convert and learned to appreciate all factors I found negative. The swatches here are useless.. hoping .. nudge nudge wink wink..Temptalia will review!
I think Topaz Pop will be coming home with me on my next trip to the mall or Ulta.
Pretty shades!
These look underwhelming and Garnet (which isn’t really garnet coloured at all) is probably the only shade I could wear. As for Ruby….it looks more peach or coral than ruby in their photos and swatches.
Weird, the press copy says 6 shades but the second arm swatch only has 4?
Clinique sells six shades, Sephora sells four!
I’m anxious for your swatches, I might need a couple of those 💸💸💸
These do look pretty and it’s good to see the brand represent the shades on differing skintones, but I feel it is something you have to swatch for yourself to see if the shade selected is right for you. Personally I am not a fan of shiny cheeks, so it will be interesting to see how they actually look. You just can’t tell or trust the swatches on the promo pics.
I love Opal! Fingers crossed this formula is in one of the holiday palettes this year!
I can only hope these will make it to Europe. I often find that there are so many of the Cheek Pops that aren’t on “my” Clinique site. I wish all products, from all brands were available everywhere. Is that really too much to ask?!
I think a luminous blush is lovely and I don’t think Clinique is a brand that would “overdo it”. I am a bit curious how the named these as for me both ruby and garnet are red, though I know that at least garnets can also be green, or am I mixing up the precious stones now?
Lol, yes, the names are utterly bizarre. Rubies and garnets vary from pink to red, and garnets can be green, but that’s about it iirc. And topaz is commonly yellow. And coral isn’t a gem. 🙃 Clinique should have just said “eff it” and named them all sapphire, sapphires can be practically anything. It still would have made more sense.
😀
I bought Garnet 2 days ago when I placed a Sephora order. I didn’t even know about these new shades, I just happened to stumble upon them when looking for a new Cheek Pop. I love the formula so I’m hoping these new shades will be glowy without any glitter or sparkle.
