Cle de Peau 103 Harmony Eye Color Duo Review, Photos, Swatches
103 Harmony
Cle de Peau 103 Harmony Eye Color Duo ($55.00 for 0.15 oz.) contains a darker green and a lighter, warmer green. I think the selection of shades is more versatile in this duo than some of the others, as there is a good level of contrast between the two shades as well as a difference in shimmer.
The formula is supposed to have a “silky” feel, be moisturizing on the lids (though it is a powder formula), long-wearing, and have true-to-pan color. I like the effect of Cle de Peau’s eyeshadows on the lid; I think that “moisturizing” aspect of them makes them sit well on the lid as time passes, where they meld well to bare skin. I find that they can be semi-opaque to opaque, more buildable and very easy to wear as a wash of color, if desired. The eyeshadows are rose-scented, though I only just noticed the scent with the compact open but not applied.
As a FYI, Cle de Peau sells the duos as a pan-only, which is not magnetized but you could stick a magnet to it so it would adhere to most freestyle palettes, or purchase their case for $25.

Harmony (Left)
Harmony (Left) is a muted, medium-dark green with very subtle, warmer undertones and a golden sheen. It had good pigmentation, which was buildable to full coverage in two layers. The eyeshadow had a finely-milled, smooth, and silky texture that sat well on the lids–never looked dusty but never emphasized my lid’s texture, either–and blended out with ease. It wore well for almost eight hours before fading on me.

Oh no!!! This is going to be very hard to resist, and resist I MUST. Finally a duo from CDP that I’ve fallen head over heels for. Very deeply, too! ?
Oh noooo! Your poor wallet. Look for dupes 😉
Well, let me see; I do have Buxom Room Service, plus UD Damaged and Protest in different LE palettes, close?
I really like this duo. Makes me wish CdP was available here.
I’m going to study the dupes because I really want this combo. So pretty!
I hope you can recreate the effect with dupes, Helene!
One odd offshoot from these CdePs, lovely as they are…. They remind me to take out some of the double sided Zs, where the dupes seem to reside! Since I became a born again haulette, the focus has not been on old stash. Remedy that….
Dive back into your stash, KJH!
I own over a dozen green shadows yet I’m not drawn to these at all! 🙁
This is a much more practical duo for those who only like a little bit of green – but I find the darker shade a tad patchy. The second shade is really lovely and quite versatile.
Looking for dupes in my collection as we speak. Pretty colors at too pretty a price for me.
If you’re going to pay $ 55 for 2 shadows, at least they are harder to dupe, esp. that dark jade
This would be for CdP’s signature evening look. Subtle, sublime, understated glamour. This one’s almost got a early 1940’s/1950’s retro vibe to it. This is about as dramatic as CdP’s eyeshadows get yet neutral enough to suit any skin tone. It’s gorgeous, I rarely wear green, (I’m in India so hot pink is my navy blue just as Diana Vreeland correctly stated.) I don’t think I’ve seen a more glamourous, tasteful rendition of a green eyeshadow ever though!
It’s very pretty and mermaid-y.
