Christian Louboutin Loubichrome Mini Nail Colour for Spring 2017
Christian Louboutin Loubichrome Mini Nail Colour for Spring 2017
The polishes bottle the ultra-luxurious qualities of Specchio, a laminated leather with a mirror-like quality, loved by Christian Louboutin for its ability to capture light and take on new dimension. Infused with light-reflecting pigment pearls, the new colors deliver a playful chrome finish on nails. Highly pigmented, nails appears dipped in liquid metal. In energetic shades of candy red, lime green and magenta, Christian Louboutin imbues the typically more edgy look of metallic nails with a spirited feminine charm. For the first time, Christian Louboutin introduces individually sold miniature bottles of his beloved Nail Colour formula. Led by the designer’s inclination to mix and match, each one is housed in a multicolored chrome box featuring a combination of all three shades. The middle partition of the box reveals the shade inside. Each bottle is crowned with the brand’s signature calligraphy-style cap in a distinctive iridescent finish, another first for the brand. The motif changes when viewed at different angles, almost like a hologram.

Loubichrome Mini Nail Colour, $30.00 (Limited Edition)
Editor’s Note: I actually bought these a few weeks ago, but they sold out immediately, and I’ve only just spotted them at another retailer this morning. I’ll try to get an official review up tomorrow, but here are swatches.
- Loubichrome I
- Loubichrome II
- Loubichrome III
Very pretty, very springy shades. Especially that gorgeous vibrant yellow shimmer! But I won’t be forking over $30 on a mini anytime soon. I am fairly certain that I actually own a $2 dupe for it that will have to make its way into my rotation this upcoming late spring into summer.
The packaging is fun and the colors are nice, but there is no world in which I would shell out $30 for a single mini nail polish. Honestly the colors seem pretty dupeable too, with maybe the exception of the chartreuse (which wouldn’t be my first choice anyway).
I guess if you just really want to own something Louboutin this is about as low cost as you’re going to get, though- ha!
Oooh shiny and sparkly….. 🙂
Will wait for your review though.
Well, $10 a bottle (even if it’s a mini bottle) is a basement bargain for Louboutin, and I won’t have to wear it as a necklace or earring to justify the purchase LOL I only like the pinky purple shade (no surprise) but if they sold individual bottles, I might be game to collect one, as I sure as hell can’t afford the shoes. Maybe he’ll do mini lipstick sets next? That would be cool, since you can get more unique shades with lippies than nail polish
Really pretty shades and they don’t cost an arm and a leg either, although they are minis.
I would only buy it because of the bottle. The colours are really boring and do not fit with the bottle.
I used to be OBSESSED with nail polish, and would never be seen without it. And at one point I maybe would have considered one of these (80% chance not) but now I haven’t worn polish in MONTHS. I just don’t have the spoons!
I’ll pass, beautiful to look at but unfortunately that formula doesn’t work well at all on my nails, chips within a day. I know it wears quite well on most people, I think it’s all the medication I have to take now.
As always, beautiful bottle, but polish-wise, they’re nothing special. I appreciate that the colors are very spring-appropriate (especially if you like the kinds of colors for spring that kick you straight out of the winter doldrums, forcefully). I think Sinful Colors has shades just like this (or close enough) for $2 a (full) bottle. Of course, people who are buying these aren’t buying them for the unique colors or sweet deal.
Love the shoes – not the polish!
