China Glaze Desert Sun Nail Lacquer Review, Photos, Swatches
China Glaze Desert Sun Nail Lacquer
Enjoy a Day in the Desert Sun Without the Heat!
China Glaze Desert Sun Nail Lacquer ($7.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is described as a “delicious caramel.” It’s a burnt orange–but lightened, not rusty–very much caramel-colored, though a little warmer. China Glaze Orange You Hot is more orange and has shimmer. Zoya Arizona is lighter, brighter. Sinful Cloud 9 is brighter, more tangerine. China Glaze Papaya Punch is more orange, brighter.
This was another high quality shade from China Glaze’s On Safari collection! It’s opaque in two coats–almost one–and dried down a little faster than average and had a naturally glossy shine. It had a beautiful consistency that wasn’t too thick or too thin, so it flowed easily across the nail without pooling or bubbling. I usually get a week of wear out of China Glaze’s lacquers with no chips and minor tip wear.

WoW! When I saw it on the main page I was like … MEH! I take it all back. That is a beautiful and unique colour. I will look through my stash but I don’t think I have anything like it. Another polish to add to my WishList 🙂
I love it! It reminds me of those Southwest adobe houses. Beautiful, I’ll be picking this one up.
Wow, this is a great transition color from summer to fall. I just love how its orange but at the same time not.
Love it! Layer this with I Herd That from the same collection: beautiful! On me this look more orangey like the last photo in the group.
Excellent!
Orange isn’t my favorite color to begin with and this one’s just…doing nothing for me. It’d look really horrible against my skintone, too. Can’t love ’em all, I guess 😛
Reminds me of the color of a Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte…
Looks like butterscotch pudding! It’s not really the colour for me though.
Beautiful such a unique color!
