Its not meant to be over the top runway and promotional pictures are usually about fantasy and Im guessing their inspiration was facial piercing judging by location of the pearls. Sometimes stuff like that become trends but usually its still tweaked a little for the real world

So Pretty!!! My favorite collections are Spring/Summer. I like soft, feminine makeup instead of hard, dark stuff especially around the eye. I do like any kind of lipstick although I don’t like nude/beige as it drains the face of natural color and makes women look unwell. Beautiful skin, rosey cheeks and lips, and soft, clean eyes is a look that flatters women of all ages and ethnicities. Great for the office, weekends, daytime, and then just strengthen/deepen the color for evening.

I saw the show on Chanel’s website. Haha those models look just like me except my piercings are real. And when I worked for Chanel they didn’t allow anything except one stud in each ear! Love the fresh clean look for the makeup.

The pearls are just meant to emphasize the theme of the spring/summer makeup trend which all has a pearl sheen to it…also the theme is an underwater fantasy and well…there are pearls in the ocean. Chanel is not trying to start a face pearl trend…it’s supposed to be artistic.

I am way too distracted by the “pearly zits” to notice the makeup. And the ones on the ear remind me of the auricular therapy I did years ago (similar to acupuncture/acupressure). Why add things that detract from the beauty of the models and the makeup?
