Christine, do you know if these will be available anywhere else besides chanel.com? Dying to check out La Fascinante. Debating between that or Chanel Dragon (aka. matte vs glossy!)
I’m sure they will be, but I haven’t received a press release from Chanel – just from chanel.com that they launched today.
I tried these today…I almost cried when I had to walk away. definitely on my Christmas list, they are stunning!
i have la sensuelle and it’s probably the most beautiful of ALL my lipsticks.
I tried a few colors, they are not you’re stereotype matte lipsticks, hydrating, gives the lips a nice glow and doesn’t make the lips peel at the end of the day. I’d recommend the natural colors more than the darker or colorful ones.
I forgot to mention the color I used the most got broken :s, not sure if it was at first or if it was me, but it broke at a weird angle at the bottom.
The coral shade La Ravissante (32) next to the Hot Pink is calling my name. Although I have get yet to find a store front that sell this line outside of the GTA. lol

I have the L’Exuberante (37) and absoluty love it feels so smooth on my lips and do not dry them out at all! Need more! are you going to review them?
In the pic these do look prettier than all of their shinier normal lipsticks. I don’t know why! The look plush, soft, velvety and subtle.
I tried la sompteuse on and while it was emphatically not a flattering red, there’s something totally new about this formula. I’ve never felt such a cushy matte lipstick.
I hope you’ll swatch them, I have #41 and I’m so in love that I plan to buy at least one more (#34) – these are absolutely amazing, they look matte but feel more comfortable then many ‘moisturizing’ lipsticks that i tried! A+

I got #34 La Raffiné, and I completely love it!!!! For me it’s almost a MLBB shade… can’t wait to try other shades!!! 😀

actually, they are already at most of the counters in macys and i believe nordstroms as well. they are amazing. *the* most moisturizing lipstick ever, not to mention the fact that they’re matte. they’re gorgeous.
I got a couple of these as they have been out in Canada for a month. Got La Sensuelle and L’Exuberante, lovely LOVELY texture and colours

I got La Fascinate when I was in Paris in September, but I wasn’t sure the line would be available in the US; I’m so glad it is! The color is amazing and I can actually stand to wear it all day. Usually matte lipsticks make my lips dry which leads to peeling, but this one manages to still feel a bit creamy and soft.
They look amazing! ♥
I have four of these (32, 34, 37 and 38)as they were already released a couple of weeks ago here in Germany. They glide on easily and look great on the lips. I was worried they might be drying but instead I found that they feel velvety and are comfortable to wear.
The shade range is also very good. If you’re ok with the price tag I can only recommend these.
I was unimpressed.
Will you be having swatches of these lipsticks? 🙂
Just picked up La Somptueuse today at Macy’s — these are lovely. Apply incredibly smoothly for a matte lipstick, beautiful feel to wear. I want to try L’Exquise next, it wasn’t out at my counter.

I bought the red one the other day and it is sick! NOT drying. It is a blue base red. It goes great with my skin tone which is fair.
A total must!
Would la sensuelle be the truest red out of all the reds in this collection?
I usually prefer bluish undertones, I just can’t find good enough swatches on the internet to be sure.
The texture of these is to die for! I swatched them today and it literally felt like a mousse….incredibly soft and smooth. it was almost like a stain in the sense that it lasted super long too. The pigmentation was crazy good. I didn’t get one because the I didn’t like the any of te colors that much but I would say these are worth it.
I bought one of these Rouge Allure Velvets in La Somptueuse and it’s the first Chanel lipstick I’ve ever bought! They look so pretty in real life as they do in the ad pictures!
Even though they only offer you eight colors at the moment, I’d say a good five of those colors are very rich, pigmented, true-looking and quite universal for more of a variety of skintones to wear them.
La Fascinante looks beautiful but I felt right away that La Somptueuse would be a better buy for me because sadly although true red is one of my favorite colors my own lips look better in dark, warm-based reds especially against my coloring.
But I do have my eye on L’Exuberante quite a bit. It looks more wearable than it seems after I tried it out a little bit! L’Exquise is a bit sheer but it’s a surprising true brown, a medium brown, and I would mind trying that on for a moment actually! I’ve never seen a true brown Chanel lipstick before! La Sensuelle looks like a lovely pink-based wine color as well.

Omg Christine,you should definitely do swatches! I went over to my Chanel counter in Malaysia yesterday to buy Rouge Allure Laque in Dragon because I read in your post that they are being discontinued.(why??!!!!!) So, whilst I was there the S.A from the opposite counter came oer to help me,and boy was I glad, coz Chanel’s S.A s in Malaysian counters are not exactly friendly. ehehe, Anyway, as she was helping me out, She volunteered to put on the Matte Lippe num 34 on me. Now I am quite dark, I use Guerlain’s Lingerie Foundation no 24. And the Chanel matte num 34 is quite pink. but never the less, it looked stunning on me!! not dirty looking but made my complexion look brighter. And I swiped Rouge Allure Lip gloss in Insolence, that bright cotton candy pink, and lo behold, it DID NOT look tacky.The colour combined looked like Barbie doll pink lips and we all know how those colours are not really suited for every skin tone. So, Christine, plz do that sort of swatch so the readers can know what I am mumbling about.Thanks!!
Do you happen to know any cheaper alternatives or a dupe for the color La Caline (36)? I fell in love with it when i tried it on my lips. The bad thing is that it’s kind of expensive for me. 🙁
