Chanel Robertson Boulevard Summer Collection
California ease, hipster cool, and true luxury intersect at Los Angeles’ hottest shopping spot, Robertson Boulevard. May 2008 brings a brand new reason to hit the block: the opening of the sparkling new Robertson Boulevard CHANEL boutique. To celebrate the occasion, Peter Philips, the new Global Creative Director of CHANEL Makeup, has designed four limited-edition must-have nail colours, which will be exclusively available in-store.
This mini-collection of graphic, pop-art shades was inspired by the spirit of Robertson Boulevard itself, a young Hollywood hangout now famous for shopping sprees and see-and-be-seen lunch spots such as The Ivy. Just as Robertson offers a signature blend of trendiness and haute exclusivity, these nail colours are fresh, eclectic, fun — bright as a cloudless California day, and perfect for a destination where every shopper feels like a star.
MELROSE A fun, hot pink destined to become spring’s must-have pedicure
RODEO DRIVE A purple splash: girl power meets the power lunch
L.A. SUNRISE A primary yellow as bright and cheerful as its name
L.A. SUNSET A warm tangerine — just the thing for an afternoon shopping splurge
Available exclusively in-store at the Robertson Boulevard CHANEL Boutique beginning May 30th, 2008, on www.CHANEL.com in July 2008, or call 1.800.550.0005. Each lacquer is $25.00.
Oh no, I have been looking for a purple and that colour looks perfect. I love them all! Too bad it’s Chanel…I will have to seriously have a think before I splash out, so expensive!
I always buy Chanel polish, its great and these shades are so pretty – love the purple one!!
That lavender one is awesome. I know I won’t make it to Robertson Blvd. b/c it’s on the west side of LA and I can’t stand the traffic getting there. BUT…I may splurge on chanel.com.
Oh, LA traffic sucks so much, lol. I don’t miss that!
I want Rodeo Drive soooo badddd. I can never find purple nail polish that is a shade I like that isn’t super sheer, but that looks asjhkd awesome.
I know, right? They look like such gorgeous creams!
why are they 25$!? they used to be 18$ At least I think they were… or maybe thats what I would tell my boyfriend? either way, I want them all! 🙂
LOL, I think they’re $25 normally, but I don’t remember. It could be because they are part of this special collection.
Oh, man, they ARE perfect for summer. I’ve never done a bright toe nail and I think this summer is it! $25?!?!?! I can get some make up for that much! Well, I guess I’ll swing by and check it out.
my bad, only at the Robertson Boulevard Boutique, I guess I won’t be swinging by after all! It’s kind of hard to read online when you’re supposed to be working, isn’t it?
I know, $25 is a high price point for polish!
