Celeb-a-Like - Eva Longoria's White-gold Bronze Eye Makeup with Neutral Lips
EVA LONGORIA dazzles with a golden wheat and bronze eye and shimmery coral-brown lips. Her complexion is stunning–flawlessly matte. We recommend MAC’s Studio Fix Fluid or Make Up Forever’s Mat+ Velvet liquid foundation. Using a concealer brush (194), dab on a touch of liquid foundation to cheeks, chin, forehead, and nose. Spritz a fluffy powder or buffer brush (129, 150, or 182) with a mist of water or Fix+, and then buff the foundation onto your face. Work your way outwards to ensure full coverage. Apply more dabs of foundation if you so require. Set with any loose powder if have oilier skin (or feel the need to) using a fluffy powder brush (129). Brighten up cheeks by using the 129 and picking up a small amount of Style blush and dusting onto the apples of the cheeks. Blend outwards using the 129 brush, softly swirling it on the cheeks, and finish by buffing the color into skin with the 182.
Get Longoria’s wide-eyed look by first applying your choice in base/primer (Urban Decay’s Primer Potion is a cult favorite). Apply MAC’s Ricepaper eyeshadow all over the lid using the 239 brush. Over the middle portion of the lid (as if you split your lid into three sections), apply just a light dusting of MAC’s Goldmine eyeshadow with the 224 (we really mean light!). Using the 239, blend in the gold-hued shadow with the all-over lid color. Apply MAC’s Amber Lights eyeshadow on outer lid and in the outer crease with the 239. Line the lower lash line also with MAC’s Amber Lights using the 219 and going along the lower lash line. Deepen the crease by applying MAC’s Bronze eyeshadow lightly with the 224, dusting and blending simultaneously. Using the 266, line upper and lower lash lines with MAC’s Blacktrack fluidline. For ultra black kohl, try MAC’s Kohl Power in Feline if you have the opportunity. Finish with a flourish by applying MAC’s #6 lashes to add drama and lots of length to your natural lashes. For those who want prefer natural lashes, apply 2-3 coats of the blackest mascara you own (we love MAC’s Plushlash in Plushblack).
For duplicating Longoria’s luscious lips, we think MAC’s Jubilee lipstick makes an excellent base (though there are a variety of possible choices: Fresh Brew, Peachstock, Half ‘n Half, to name a few!). Overlay it with MAC’s C-thru lipglass or Instant Gold lustreglass to get that shimmery, glossy look. Flash your pearly whites and let yourself glow!
What do you think of Longoria’s look?
I LOVE IT!!!! This look is truly just simply gorgeous!
I definitely agree, Charlene!
deep sigh, I wish I could get lashes like that, hehehe without falsies 🙂
LOL, you and me both, Tanya!!
Love this look!
Me too, Lisa!
Is it me, though, or does Eva look positively insane in this picture?!
LOL, Mary! Yes, it was a bit of an odd moment to capture her expression…
eeerrrrr…
She looks a little insane (that’s what happens when you get people snapping your photo 24/7), but the makeup is still nice.
Great look as always!!! I love your site!
An off-topic question please.
Are the two basic brush sets the same quality?
I’ve heard that the set that comes with the clutch is not as good as the one in the canister.
Hey Kleri!
The two basic brushs ets are the same quality as far as I know and from what I remmeber feeling…
Thank you!
The look on her face made me laugh! But the makeup is gorgeous! If only my lashes could look like that without falsies… lol. Thanks for the run through! I love these Celeb-a-Likes!
I know, right? She looks a bit scary, but hey, it shows the makeup and that’s what we’re looking at anyway! Thanks, Ariele!
The look is ok except for the false lashes that are way bigger than her!
