How do you like to apply loose powder? Share!
I like using a large, dense, slightly flat brush so that I can press the powder into the skin (better coverage/better setting in my experience) -- almost like you would with a sponge but using a brush instead.

my answer: Some brands get REALLY repetitive over the years, which is sort of great, as it frees up money for other products, but at the same time, it can get disappointing to see a favorite brand churn out the same standard...

Most recently, Sephora Collection -- I really like a lot of their eyeliners, eyeshadows, brushes, and lipsticks. NYX is often impressive, because their price point is so, so low but many products are quite good.
