What's one type of product you know you purchase too often?

Highlighters! I just love a good highlighter — something about the powder’s texture and then how it looks on the skin.

How do you apply your highlighter?

I usually apply with a tapered, moderately dense brush about medium in size, like the Wayne Goss #2. I tap along the cheek bones, down the bridge of the nose, on the cupid’s bow, and just below the center of my bottom lip.

Loose Powder Brushes

I used to feel like they were all too big, and often, almost all the same shape, but now, I feel like we have so much variety in brush shapes, sizes, and styles to choose from that I have no general rants. I do prefer flatter, moderately dense brushes for loose powder, though!

What a brutal question! Tom Ford Pink Glow palette, Laura Geller Ballerina, Laura Mercier #01 Matte Radiance. I always said I had a weakness for a good highlighter.

Years ago, I contoured my cheeks on a near-daily basis, but these days, I don’t usually contour. The irony is probably that I needed less contouring then compared to now!
