What are your deal-breakers when it comes to powder eyeshadow?

What are your deal-breakers when it comes to powder eyeshadow?

For more matte finishes: anything really powdery that has a lot of fallout, tendency sheer out, and thinner textures–I just find that weaker performers tend to have these kind of traits. For more shimmery shades: drier, more powdery bases where they can go on unevenly or require fingertip...

What are your deal-breakers when it comes to pencil eyeliner?

Sheer pigmentation, drier/firmer formulas that tug or drag, and if it’s more than a few dollars, then it can’t dry out quickly!

What are your deal-breakers when it comes to cream eyeshadow?

What are your deal-breakers when it comes to cream eyeshadow?

I personally prefer more pigmented cream eyeshadows since I’m nearly incapable of doing one-and-done (it’s not really… enjoyable? to me, like my favorite part of doing my makeup is eyeshadow so doing one shade isn’t satisfying–hopefully that makes sense!). The formula has to go on evenly,...

What are your deal-breakers when it comes to foundation?

The obvious one is that they have to have a close-enough shade match or else it’s hard to wear, but I often mix two shades together, so I am not adverse to that. I’m not a huge fan of really flat, matte and full coverage foundations and tend to reach for more medium, buildable coverage with a...
