Byredo Flora Kalahari Palette ($96.00 for 1.05 oz.) is a new, limited edition 18-shade palette from Byredo for spring. Here are swatches of all the shades in the palette! The formula definitely felt smoother/silkier, almost like a slurry formula, compared to their five-pans (from the two that I’ve tried).

Oh wow the color story is so similar to the Pat McGrath 2021 large holiday pallet. It’s really beautiful though!
This looks very promising! Like a “nude/naked” palette with a coral twist to many of the shades. And since coral brings out the green in my blue-green eyes just like red-toned purples…
This palette reminds me of UD Born to Run, which I have been using lately, although the formula may be better. Still, not going to spend nearly $100 on what would be dupes once on my eyes.
I was thinking the same thing! They look pretty, though.

Oh, I love a good slurry formula. So if this palette works like, say, Surratt shadows, I might…no. NO. I have plenty of palettes and these shades a thousand times over. I will not be tempted by Under the Sky, which is my favorite shade of shadow. I have a thousand shades that look like Under the Sky.
I shall resist temptation. Enjoy this one extra hard for me, if you pick it up. 🙂

These are totally different from Surratt (that are my favorites). I hope they’re less tempting now. 😉 I’m tempted by the delicate color story anyway… 🤦♀️

MUCH less tempting! Thank you! Still a lovely palette none the less!
$96 for an eyeshadow is beyond my limit, especially for a brand I’ve not heard of and no attention to the packaging.

Have it, and love it already. (The only time you can beat anyone to the punch is when a Swedish brand drops a palette…;). (For those who wonder, Byredo is Swedish). So I am am obviously a tiny bit biased. But I really do like the formula in these larger palettes. Have the more playful colourful one from last year too and actually use it quite a bit. This new one will however be my staple for the spring summer of 2022.
And the pictures don’t really do this full justice, as it somehow makes many shades look the same. In real lighting they are all very unique and different from each other and looks different on the eyes too.
I am certainly hoping that the formula is a good one because it is such an expensive palette. However there does seem to be quite a lot of repetition in the pink shades. Ultimately this one is waay too warm for me and I do wish the brand had put in less orange and pink and more of other colours.
Hahaha….did you see my reply? (I mentioned you specifically on this issue!)

Ordered! I really don’t have anything else like this in my collection.. it’s definitely a warm /peachy toned artistic palette with what appears to be an elegant formula from the reviews I’ve watched. I’m excited to get and play with it!!
I’m attracted to the peachy tones but don’t need this. I had wished I bought that last one with the color. By the time I decided to get it it was sold out.
I see 5 or 6 shadows that I like and would use so, even putting aside the high price, this is not a palette I would buy – all those orange and red shades are not for me (or Genevieve, if I can presume to speak for her).

Who gave the ok on seven nearly-identical shades of peach / gold / rose gold?!

These look gorgeous and smooth, but this never has been, nor ever will be, a color story for me. *Really* like the packaging, though.
This color story is not for me at all. Interesting reading through the reactions here!

96 USD for that?
I..
…
Yikes.
Elegant palette, but not something I need in terms of colour story.

Yikes! So many duplicate colors. 😳
