Agreed. Also, swatches on only darker skin often make me feel like it wouldn’t look good on lighter skin types like mine, because the colors are too dark or maybe it just doesn’t look good. Otherwise they would have included those swatches. Too bad. The palette looked promising and I was curious about the brand. Too bad they’re not inclusive.

Just saw they added swatches on all skin tones, which is good! Still looks incredibly light, and a bunch of the shades (light purples and pinks) look identical to each other.

I really like this color story. I’m swimming in purples of all types so I don’t really need a palette this purple heavy, but I might rearrange my singles like this as I can see quite a few different looks I’d like to play around with.

I’ve been wondering this, but wasn’t sure if it was okay to ask: Is it always the lightness of an eyeshadow color that makes non-inclusive, or does the pigmentation make a difference? And also, is it shades that have a white base to them that do not work as well on darker skin? Are most palettes from Colourpop, with all the peachy, beige shadows, not considered inclusive, but because they churn out so many palettes in so much variety, that it doesn’t bother people as much?

I’ve been curious about that, so thank you for answering. I did understand it better when your palettes came out and you explained the process of choosing colors for different skin tones in detail, but I wasn’t sure if all light, matte colors were an issue.
