The Details

Silk & Bloom Blush Palette, $68.00 (Limited Edition)

Taking inspiration from runway designs and fabrics, the palette is set within a geometric print pattern referencing antique wallpaper sourced from London’s Victoria and Albert Museum. Combining subtle rosy colour and illuminating pearls, the soft-as-silk powder creates a glowing, flushed effect on cheeks. The lightweight and easily blendable powder formula can be layered for custom intensity, with a non-chalky finish.

hello! so there’s a blog by someone over at the non-blonde and they have a swatch if you google, it comes up pretty easily… but from what it looked like, it’s more of a very sheer luminous blush on fair to medium (maybe light medium?) skin, or it could work like a blush topper… but, since you say your skin is darker, I bet it would work as a highlighter for you! It’s *very* sheer, but a very pretty rosy color! 🙂

Thank you Jonirae! I found the blog post. Her description and pic were very helpful. I’m still not sure what it will do on my skin, but I’m pretty sure I won’t pass it up now. I’ll find some use for it!

I’ve already seen this and there is only one shade in the “palette”. The darker shade you seen in the picture is because of the light playing off of the embossed pattern. It is luminous and is sheer. Very pretty and if a more sheer approach to blusher is your thing, it is a beautiful option.

The packaging and blush design sure make it busy looking. I’m not sure I like it or not. Seems to be a lot of emphasis on subtle color, so can’t help but wonder how subtle is too subtle for a blush? And for $68, the formula should be ‘silky’. Color looks very pretty. Hmmmm, I dunno.

I would love love love to know how this compares to the Bobbi Brown Sunset Glow Highlighting powder. Are they really too similar to justify having both?
