Reminds me of Physicians Formula and MAC Arche collection. Really cute but not $80+ CAN cute.
So true 🙂
I agree. It is cute, but not that cute. I’ll stick to my Physician’s Formula blush.
The prices really are getting very high. I’m sure this blush is beautiful, but I can’t see how people will continue to pay these prices and still come back to buy more and more in the future. How much makeup does the average person really need? How much is too darn much regardless of budget? Are we finally going to reach a ceiling? I don’t know, but it feels like it’s coming, because the market feels too saturated with beauty products. Nothing against Burberry — at all. It’s one of my favorite brands.
Argeed. But I do love Burberry! I think Tom Ford is the worst for doing duplicates, and poor quality and extremely high prices. He saturates us with the same things over and over but with just a higher price tag. At least Burberry does keep it simple and does not bombard us with too many products and I have to say Burberry’s products are consistently of high quality and Tom Ford is not.
I have this, I was on a wait list at Nordstrom here in Canada. And i had to wait a month, pre-pay and then wait again for it to release. It never made it to the shelves it was sold out beforehand. I am a NC-35 skin tone and it barely shows up. It has terrible pigmentation. The smell is floral and strong, like all Burberry products. This is definitely for the collectors. Wouldn’t recommend.
Thanks for the heads up! This is a perfect example of why I dislike limited edition/limited availability products. Everything is designed to tempt the consumer into purchasing before adequate research can be done to ensure the product is worth the high price tag.
Very cute but I feel exactly the same way as my fellow Canadian, WARPaintandUnicorns – not nearly special enough at $80+ Canadian.
This is very pretty I am curious as to how the highlighter looks on.
its very faint, like a subtle baby pink, not enough that I would call it a highlight, not even a sheen. its actually exactly like a Physicians Formula blush. Not bright and not enough of a sheen. I paid $98 for it here in Canada. It is actually so beautiful to look at, I wish it showed up more on me. If you have a porcelain skin tone, this might be the subtle look for you.
Thanks Rachna that is very helpful. I am medium skin tone with more olive undertones so I don’t know if it would work for me so I will probably pass on purchasing. But I might get Burberry’s Fresh Glow Highlighter in Rose Gold No.04 it is a pinkish gold it looks beautiful in the compact but I would love to see how it looks on before making the purchase.
I swatched those in store and they are stunning!!!
Thanks Rachna for letting me know. I’ve come to only expect the best from Burberry they are consistently high quality with beautiful formulas.
It looks nice, but as my other fellow Canadians (WARPAINTandUnicorns, Mariella) pointed out, it’s not that special even design-wise to justify the price, IMHO. I paid last year $76CAD for the Nars Unfiltered II cheek palette but at least there are six shades in it and I get to use each of them either as a blush or as a highlighter.
I like the two tone aspect – and it is a little like a Physicians Formula kind of thing – but at a greater price.
The heart design and theme are cute, albeit kind of random for spring. I will probably search out swatches, but I still don’t think I would purchase at this price.
Nope, I’m skipping. Their blushes are always loaded with fragrance, and price is too high
